Yet another newbie

Thought it was time i plucked the courage up to say hi to all.

I took the plunge last wednesday and ordered an E-cig (Genesis510) after wanting to cut down on my 40+ roll up a day habit.
I`ll be honest and say i didnt really do much reserch and only took the plunge to buy one after reading on a forum i frequent about how people have got on so well with them and managed to cut down/quit ( there was obviously a few that hadn`t got on with them also) so thought sod it why not.

After having a quick google about i was in 2 minds about the 510 or skycig as both seemed similar in price and if i couldnt get on with smoking one it`s not that much of a money loss but after stumbling onto this forum yesterday i`m reasonably pleased i chose the 510.

Well friday when i got in from work the parcel had arrived and hand on heart i can say ive not looked back. before my first "vape" (see i can pick the terminology up quick after trawling though posts on here all day yesterday, lol) i had smoked 17 roll ups in 6 hours but from 2pm onwards i only had 4 more roll ups and all day yesterday i only had 5 which has really surprised me as i didnt think it would be so easy to cut down and fingers crossed i can stop smoking all together.

Looks like your 510 came with an atomiser & 5 cartridges? Those prefilled cartridges aren't going to last you very long I'm afraid Did you buy any e-liquid to refill them?

Maccafan: ive oh so many questions and i`m sure youll all be thinking " oh god not another stupid question " soon enough.

Chrissie: Yes the kit consited of 2 manual batteries, 1 atomiser , charger and 5 prefilled carts, When i bought it i also bought 10ml of gold and silver as it said on the site it was the most popular and i`ve already refilled 2 of the carts as ive sucked them dry.

Ive also today placed an order on vapeescape for a 5 bottle pick n mix to try some flavours out and ive also ordered off there a tank atomiser and a couple of tank cartridges to give them a try as they seem popular.

Don't worry about essays, make your posts as long, or as short as you want! Sometimes, it takes a long time to explain something we need to ask or want to share with the rest of the forum.
There's no such thing as stupid questions, it's stupid not to ask questions though and then make a pigs ear of things. We were all new to vaping at one time and knew nothing.

Welcome CG , as you will see from a lot of our sigs , there are quite a few of us who have been vaping for some time , and seriously we can all still remember being a newbie and asking the same "silly" questions .. that is to say if we have all asked them in the past , they can't be that silly , Big Welcome to AAEC , and bring on the silly questions
