KOOPOR Mini 60w TC mod from fasttech.. TC FAIL!!

 This arrived from Fasttech today.
Cost less than £23 delivered (no epack or anything special) taking a fortnight to arrive after ordering.

well packed it arrived with an orange silicone skin but no usb lead.

adding a battery its in TC mode out of the box, with +/- buttons effecting the temp limit In Celcius  

The vape is good and flavoursome, but seems hot for the temp set (210C) when compared to a dna40 mod.

There does appear to be  a ramp up delay when you press the fire button.

Its a comfortable size in the hand, and the silicone skin whilst being a very unattractive colour imho is a nice addition to the package.

after a little vape im liking, but have my suspicions that the Temp Control may not be that accurate?
Ive reduced my limit to 180C and its vaping as strong as @ 210C not kicking in with TC??

It's a cute little mod, it's on my maybe list. I don't like the sleeve at all but I love the look and feel of it sleeveless in my hand.

After a few more hours with this mod i am calling FAIL on the Temperature control..

Vaping a subtank plus with a 0.15ohm OCC coil which is a wekk or two old and has been used only for TC vaping Im now running the koopor TC60w with a 100C temp limit and only a slightll lower level of vapour volume produced..  

Ive not opened up to have a look see behind the plastic panels under the magnetic back door, but beyond the slight..
i need to find the camera battery charger beforer i can take any snaps..

But this is looking like another TC FAIL!! tho not on the weak weedy vape way of some, At its price however its a reasonably priced small handy 18650 VW option, making it a good out and about option, though its weight (stainless steel body) might limit its pocket friendlyness??

IMHO if you want a TC mod AVOID THIS OPTION!!

Ah i'm gutted, I really loved the look of this one! For the price though I guess it's still a cute VW mod

Perhaps you've got a bad one, mine is working fine.
Temperature setting vary between all my TC mods (Xcube2, SMY mini & Koopor) but apart from the ramp up it's an excellent vape.

USB is for software updates only, not for charging

Oh and I like the orange colour, but I dont like silicon sleeves so I'm running naked
and I have an orange Cloupor mini TC on order

oh Q i tried that temp control stuff it was a wild rollercoaster of swear words and you can do it on 3 mods
now if you can do it i sure gotta try

hopefully mine is a one off?? the coil in the subtank was vaped on another mod this morning and leaked!!

i have pulled the coil and dismantled it will post pics later (camera battery charging atm)

initial looks indicate some cotton singing, but it may be juice staining?? a hidef camera pic may reveal more than my eyes can determine ?

My TC vaping is currently limited to using subtanks and minis with kanger Ni Occ coil heads Ive yet to build a nickel coil and wick it without bending the feck out of it

Buy some tempered, and don't pulse it for hot spots. Heating it makes it soft.

No I think your correct decoy,  I don't pulse either NI200 or TI as it bu**ers it up. Just wick it and juice it and fire it up and check that it's working.

fwiw i pulled the kanger occ head apart and the wick wasn't singed But the coil was black with carbon.. but i didnt conduct dry wick testing..

still dont trust the tc tho as it vaped warm when set to a low temp with zero limiting..
