Wick

I need to buy some wick, and pretty pronto. I took part in the UKV group buy back in January, and 3 1/2 months later there is still no sign of the wick ever materialising. So...I need a decent supplier of wick so that I can use my currently dormant rebuildables. Answers on the back of a forum post to AAEC...

Slightly on the pricey side but very good wick e-cigz.co.uk/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_38&products_id=171

Looks like I kicked the hornet's nest over on UKV - Tim actually made an appearance! If what he's saying is correct, I'll have my wick (as will others) by the end of the month. It's this kind of thing that makes me wary about group buys and whether you can trust the source. Thanks for the link Blakey - I'll take a look as I'll still need some between now and then.

Well you certainly got a reaction on UKV PeeKay! I guess a lot of us were wondering when this wick would arrive. Sadly, it sounds as if Tim has something pretty serious which would explain the long delay.

Yes, however my post was completely factual - including the part where you can see the last visit time/date. He tends to be on there quite frequently, but does not respond or update anyone.
While I can appreciate illness and its effect on people, he should be keeping the masses informed rather than ignoring PMs and forum posts about it.
Incidentally, I'd like to think that my post was level without being nasty in any way - I hope that's how it came across. ???

No mate, that wick will burn easily and taste nasty, you have no idea what chemicals it has been treated with- best left alone.

Multi-purpose....I like it! If you get bored re-wicking your stardust you could make a candle or 2! Seriously though - it would be interesting to hear what people say about this as its pretty cheap. I realise the coil heats up to quite a high temp, but would it disintegrate this wick?

Okay - so I missed the 2 posts above! Proper wick is just over twice this price and is linked in a different thread.

Hi all, I'm wanting to buy some wick and coil wire for my stardust. I've read this thread and others, but I'm sill unsure what type to get. Can some one please tell me what type of wick and what type of coil wire I need. And if possible, any recommendations on where to get it. Thanks
