Just curious. I always assumed it was water vapour. But if it's just essentially steam why does it linger for so long in the air ? Really should do more research on what I'm vaping

So its not water vapour we exhale. It's the remaining vg/pg. And these molecules attract water to condense in their surface or bond with them creating something similar to fog?
So the more juice we inhale as vapour the more of a type of fog we produce as our body won't be able to keep the absorbtion rate up.
Finally vg. Vg produces more vapour. So does that mean our bodies are less efficient at absorbing this. Or does it mean that vg has better property's for water to condense on its surface or bind to it.

Vg is a humectant by nature, especially when heated, hence getting more vapour when air is dragged across your coils, and as you say our body won't absorb it, it collects in the lungs which explains more phlegm in higher Vg juices

Correct peter12Vg and pg absorb water.. It's used in a few different products for this purpose like waterless engine coolant.. The only water vapour we inhale or exhale would be what's already in the juice when bought or what's absorbed.. I know you should drink plenty of water when Vaping wether this is because it absorbs water out of your body I couldn't answer though.
