They're rather good aren't they?!!  The one from Gearbest has v3 firmware, whereas the one i picked up from redeye the other week was v2.  Only thing i've noticed between them is that the v2 shows the actual resistance on screen (can see it climbing when it's fired) but the v3 just shows what base resistance the atty was set to when initialising.  Probably in response to a review i saw where the reviewer thought it was a fault but in reality didn't understand what was going on.  I prefer v2's in that regard but no big deal; makes zero difference to the vape.

Well now they have a UK warehouse, I thought I would give them another try, ordered IPV D2 late Wednesday evening, delivered by Yodel late afternoon today, now have Subtank Mini with 26g Ti in a RBA v2 4/3 wraps 0.22Ω @ 400°F and 40J - Brilliant - well done @gearbest

Some of the UK vendors will not be liking this move from GearBest I think. I can see a bit of a shake up coming if this gets better. Good for consumers, not good for B&M's. Their profit margins on equipment must be low to start with, so this will hit them hard. Up to now their only advantage was fast shipping. That has now been somewhat dented.

It seems to be the start of a trend, Angelcigs appear to have a very big presence in the States, most of their stock seems to be available from their US presence .

 Gearbests`s delivery speed performance seems really good so far to UK customers from the UK Warehouse. If this is going to be the norm then that is probably another cause for concern from UK B and M`s.

I'm not too sure if this will really apply as you only have to look at the success of Totally Wicked who still seem to have a very large markup (at times bordering on a Rip Off) and yet do very well. The ability to go in to a shop near you, get advice and demonstrations of equipment etc. will still be a popular part of the vaping scene for a while yet.

Plus using Yodel isn't going to win many friends. Bunch of winkers. They've left mine with someone close by who I've never met. And never seems to be at home. This despite having a shop open next door.
I had changed my paypal address to my business one. Unlike FT, I forgot GB has my home address as default.

Yep the only downside i can see with this arrangement is the use of Yodel.

Caught the courier just shoving my package through the door.

When i opened the door he said he had a parcel for one of my neighbours and that if i took it in they would come and collect it.

He had not called at the neighbours or left them a message to say i had it.

Just decided that i could do his job for him.

First time i ever had anything delivered by them, but i seem to remember reading some horror stories about them previously.
