Thanks for the heads up. Everyone I've seen or read who uses this battery gives it good reviews. Might tempt it just to add to channel ok to use Ya photo ?

The end of the story was that I thought I was getting it to make contact but it was still not working. After providing video evidence and endless toing and froing the vendor agreed to give me a replacement. The problem is that that battery contact is held by a thin fork of plastic - and the springs at the other end were very tight on mine (almost solid) so the plastic gave out...

Another vote for dna200, had mine for about 2months and all is perfect.. Evolv aren't planning on making another chip for a couple of years with the way they've made this and involved the customer in taking ideas and adding them too the chip.. You'd be surprised how much the firmware on this chip has changed since they first released the beta's.. They've got the best customer service I've ever seen when it comes too the chip its self.. Also so far all mods that have had problems (opus & hana mainly, and a few homemade mods) they've either replaced the chip or swapped the mod straight out for a beta too find the problems these companies are creating with their chip. For £120 you can get a hcigar vt200 or a efusion in stores next week and you won't be wasting money on a sigelei just for sigelei too do the same as snowwolf and release a new mod a month later.. Should they have added a usb for updates this may have been a different story but they didn't. DNA 200 FOR THE WIN!!! i bet they wernt planning on making another chip for a wile after the dna40 then the dna40 gold, then the dna40 big screen ooh also the dna25 somwhere in the mix aswell, IMO they lost alot of money so decided to join the watt race

Hi earlobesHad a Sigelei 150w TC for nearly 2 weeks, so far it's working flawlessly. Been using tc with a Plume veil, a single 12 wrap Ni200 on a 3mm former, 0.18ohm at 30 joules at 380f. Giving me a very nice vape, loads of flavour and good clouds. £59.99 at Kingz of VapourGood luck whichever mod u get

Check out the IPV3 Li. I personally never had any trouble with the IPV4 cover but the IPV3 has a slide in metal back cover and has a very similar board and electronics. The DNA200 mods are great (I have one) the SMOK Xcube2 (which I also have) is also a very versatile contender. My go to mod is still the IPV3 Li, it`s very reliable, and has great battery life. Some pics and a quick review here allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/56926/ipv3-li-review-gearbest?page=1&scrollTo=985736

By any chance do you still have any video footage? The video has me in it, so not going anywhere! Besides, it's only me putting batteries in a working mod, (by way of demonstrating the batteries are not at fault) taking them out then putting them into the IP4 and showing it does not switch on!

They won't have too make another chip is my point because it's got firmware updates, if something's not working right they'll update it not have too make a new chip like the dna40.. Aslong as you buy a screen with the right connector you could put any screen you want your mod. Maybe they did mess up with a few chips on the dna40 and I bet more worked than didn't.. All I'm saying is that it probably isn't for everyone but didn't yihi have problems with chips? Didn't smok claim they had tc and didn't, also smok are trying too charge for upgrades for Ti /ss316?? It's all a competition too the companies but only one company that I know of actually works with the customer. Sorry Geordie I've gone on a bit of a rant hahaha

Sorry Geordie I've gone on a bit of a rant hahaha Funny thing is, they could probably given us the dna200 back in the dna30 days, but were holding off. Great chip, but where do they go from here....Cant imagine anyone going above 200w. No one vapes at 200w, or wants to, so it's going to be a race for the best software. So DNA are still winning.

Evolv will be working on new stuff, I know they are tendering for a federal project to produce a device for research ATM and I wouldn't be surprised to see a board with DNA200 features that will run from a 18650. Thing is who expected variable wattage before they made the Darwin or temp limiting before the DNA40.

Big thanks for all the input. I ended up with the ipv 4s. But also decided on a DNA next month providing the bus sails through the mot.
I'll put a poll up next time so ppl can just vote for top 4 I wish to review.
Cheers ears!

No bad luck. Opened it up today while recoding installed the batteries and guess what it was dead. More dead then my sex life. I took the batteries out only to find same fault as you the connection for the inner right battery is far to high up. Still did the channel feed but warning people now not possible to have two fail the same way

Still did the channel feed but warning people now not possible to have two fail the same way Sorry to hear that, earlobes . I bought mine from Fastech, and, once they recieve the old one in the post, they are going to send me a replacement. I may have a go at getting at least store credit instead, so thanks for the heads up. I did suspect that this was a design flaw, only have an eleaf 100w with which to compare it, with but the batteries in the eleaf fit so easily... We live and learn
