'Scottish roll' (new thick wicking method)

Found this thanks to "Jobo" over on UKV.

This method seems to go against everything that we know regarding the way to re-wick a coil.............but I have been using this method after having several floods from both of my Ubertoots, now without the hint of a dry hit and no leaks. Fantastic!!!!

Will give it a go on my ST Mini`s later this week.

Give it a go, it may just surprise you.

oh i have some use for all the muji cotton i have going to defo try this out
reading comments over the web folks getting upto 30 hits before goes dry
and it don't use much juice

now wonder how it lasts on them TC setups sure get even more

The biggest problem will be trying to pull that much cotton wool through a Ti200 coil without destroying it.

Just tried in a chalice with 2mm 1ohm microcoil (fed up of squonking every 2/3 toots) and works surprisingly well, as long as the squonk is prolonged a bit:) On toot number 10 and reckon I could get a few more

maybe roll up the cotton with what ever you use to make coils in the centre then pull out when built

I have the same set up but at 1.7Ohms, Ill have to try this tomorrow evening. Any difference in flavour?

I was dubious it was going to work in my dual blue screw driver wrapped 1ohm driper but its the best wick method Ive tried to date.
Bit more tedious but worth the effort.

Just tried this on Kennedy dual coil , cotton needs a bit more breaking in time but once that's done boy does the vape last a long time.

Not that I can notice (only menthol in though so difficult to tell). I used less cotton than the vid due to coil size (halved pad, stretched and then into 3)
