minime, don't be too glass half empty about it, we all have different tastes .ALL the reviewers I have read/watched have said the flavour is good. Most don't like the airflow control ring or the drip tip nipple thing, but all sing the praises of vapour and Flavour and VB has certainly got his rocking. This attie is a big step for me too, but I won't give up just yet. Playing around with different builds ect is half the fun isn't it?

Havn't got much experience with nickel builds VB, I want to like this tank as it was gifted. Think I have some ni200 somewhere, I'll look it out and try the horizontal coils. I dry burn my kanthal coils every two days on my kanger sub tanks Does nickle gunk up as quickly? Sometimes the air hole doesn't line up with the coil. Try marking the base in line with the coil and then screw on the tank and unscrew till the air hole meets the mark that you made. That could well be what's causing your flavour issue. Personally I use the two hole band and I make sure that the hole is directly in front of the coil, I build the coils high be they vertical or horizontal - level with the top of the posts. Hi, Blakey, yes, I have read about lining up the coil with the airflow slots and have marked my base with a felt pen to help alignment. My vertical coils are slightly below the tops of the posts so I will definitely try raising them up a mm or 2. Not beaten yet mate. Any chance of a pic of your build?

First of all, your a bustad for making me look in there, now I've seen it I have to rewick The coils are ni200 29guage and have clearly dropped, but if you look at the discolouration of the coil you'll notice that most of the action is at the top of the coil which is why we build them high. The wick showing at the top of the coil is excessive probably due to the coils dropping. But you'll get a good idea of what you should be aiming for. And side on

Here you go, just rewicked 29 guage ni200, 11 wraps around a 3.5mm screw which is equivalent to wrapping around a 3mm former And wicked, needs a bit of trimming on the top of the wick It's now vaping like a beast with full on flavour
