Post from staff on the forum:I'm sort of guessing this is like the time when HK customs inspected a load of pallets and found lots of naughties like eliquid (I think prohibited at the time) and batteries and all heck broke loose with FT shipments (I think this was towards the end of 2013 / early 2014). But there's probably a mix of hearsay and good old fashioned creative memory going on in the preceding sentence).

I remember that tomj777, it was what made them stop shipping batteries by air for a long while and was not long after the episode I posted about which was the end of 2013 IIRC.

Ah - that was that one. It has, alas, just occurred to me that Golden Week starts in a couple of days - chances are our packages won't have left the ground by then

Well folks, My packet arrived on Friday, including the discontinued Magma RDAs. Hopefully the rest find theirs on their doorstep soon, if not already.

Fingers crossed mine won't be long then, though we were notified of the problem on the same day and tracking doesn't even show mine in the country yet... I think Golden Week has slowed it down.

Thank you for ordering at FastTech.com.
We notice some packages shipped via E-packet shipping service recently have suffered a delay by post office. In order to prevent your order from being affected by this issue, we will ship your order via Singapore post registered airmail instead within 24 hours. It takes around 6-20 business days for delivery typically. We will try our best to refund shipping cost difference between E-packet and Singapore post before holiday (Oct 1st to Oct 5th, Hong Kong time).
Your understanding will be highly appreciated. As this email is only for notification, we're closing this ticket now. Please feel free to e-mail us at support@fasttech.com if you have other questions. Thanks! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Attn: Your order will be shipped via Singapore Post registered airmail instead

Tracking is showing mine was despatched overseas on 5/10, so that's a week so far... this order was placed 14/9! Ah well, it'll get here when it gets here.

Ah well, it'll get here when it gets here. I think this is the rule of thumb for FT, etc. The vagaries of postal services (and with International this is compounded by the being more than one)
