Just cracked open my first recipe after 4 weeks steeping. It's spiced apple, blackberry and Devon cream. The flavours very nice but the spice of the Apple is a little harsh on the throat. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the flavour levels but tone down the harshness? I used 8% spiced apple, 8% BlackBerry and 10% Devon cream. Cheers

What pg/vg ratio did you use?
Sometimes just a higher vg ratio will help smooth things out

Which company's flavourings are those? If you're using TPA Blackberry, that could be your problem...

Its a 50/50 kreed. The black berry and the spiced apple are both everything liquid and the Devon cream is from chefs ceedee

I would try a 70vg/30pg version first. If still harsh as Perpetua said Vape Wizard will help.............or some TPA Smooth. I've also used Marshmallow to smooth flavours out

I'll speculate that it could be the Cinnamon in the Spiced Apple that's the source of the harshness drunkenbum . . . . Capella's Gingerbread is a lovely smooth blend of spicy flavours, I very often use a small percentage of it, combined with Apple - works really well, I reckon anyway. Worth having some in for all sorts of mixes.

I might get some straight Apple concentrate in and try that for the next go. The flavour is really nice though. Might do a tester with less spiced apple as well
