ps due to screw ups draws have been held and i have received a kanger subtank plus and a hcigar vt40 as a result of participating,
and while im prepared to give any supplier the benefit of doubt especially with a stock volume so large i doubt any 1 employee is familiar with every item i will call foul when i see it..

We all try & buy from the best place, its just unfortunate that people cant accept the fact that not everyone has the same view on who that supplier is!

No Ive just assumed that buggritt said that with a bit of tongue in cheek sarcasm & he's not really leaving, so thats the kind of reply he's been given....pretty simular to you assuming everyone that has a bad experince with gearbest is either blowing it out of proportion or just whinging..
And no I didnt tag or mention vapingbad, didnt see the need to as he'd posted it in the thread....plus last time we had a conversation like this someone threw toys out their pram when I did tag them.

Not the way I read it, he seemed to be saying they employed it as a tacit to quieten critics as an example of the way the business conducts it's self and I only posted to say what happened to me may fit in with that so it is not something he made up, but you can never truly know the motives and I may have it wrong.  On that note you do have stated there is a "nasty insinuation" on this thread and while I understand you may feel that is a possibility it is not a proven fact and IMO that kind of assertion just ramps up the bad feeling between members. I am not saying you are alone in or particularly vehement in doing that, but it seems to me to becoming more and more prevalent here recently.

It confounds why this is such an emotive and divisive issue, the vast majority customers got what they expected roughly when they expected it, but that is nothing more than the basic function of a web store. But a few have had what they feel is unsatisfactory service, neither point negates the other, both are valid and people shouldn't feel uncomfortable expressing their opinions within the site rules. It should not get personal, this thread is about a big stack em high and sell em cheap business thousands of miles away, while this community is about so much more.

I have had some freebies for review which I have written totally honestly and always said that I got it from Gearbest free. I post a lot of stuff in the China Shopping from Gearbest which more often that not is cheaper than anywhere else. I also post from Fasttech and Focal a fair bit for the same reason.

I try very hard to stay friendly with Isabel and Doris because I find it helps in bad situations and helps to inform the China vendors of what we would like to see from China. We have to always remember where we are ordering from and the minor risks involved when buying from China. To be fair to China vendors, there are many occasions when they are messed about by the manufacturers and distributors.

We dont get to know about that but it happens a lot, especially lately with so much good quality kit coming out. Also a lot of manufacturers are now pre selling before the mods have even been made. If a problem shows up in manufacture or they cant keep up with the demand, the chain of delays starts although many of that manufactured item have been sold to distributors and vendors. It is just too much to expect vendors in China not to sell until they actually have stock, unless they all do it. Not a snowballs chance in hell of that happening.

It simply has to be expected, it happens to us all and it probably always will. If you cant cope with it, then simply dont buy from China.

If Ive offended anyone then I apologise profusely, this was certainly not my intention....I prefer to have a conversation without things getting out of hand, but thats hard to do with typed text because as ive said it has no context & people can read replies & assume different things or the way something is said, its totally different when youre talking to someone face to face.

I myself, & im sure 99% of members on here have no problem with you or what you do robby....not a day goes by on here when your not flagging up bargains for members & offering help, as for gearbest the amount you do in promoting them I'd say its very generous & only fair for them to pass the odd bit of kit to you for free, im sure no one has any objection to that either.

The only thing I'm unhappy with is members being jumped on everytime they dont give a positive review of a supplier, i think its unfair & people shouldnt try to discredit them when they do, every company in the world has happy & unhappy customers, you cant please everyone in life.

The original approach to me was made because I was one of the most experienced vapers on the forum with many years of electrical and electronic knowledge, I stated clearly to them that I would only post honest reviews and that was it. No mention of promoting them in any way was made or expected. I do try to keep the peace because it makes so much more sense to have them as part of the forum.

Imagine what it would be like if there was no contact here and people had to deal simply by email with some nameless entity in China as is the case with Fasttech. I have been on the end of a couple of 5 or 6 week wrangles with them. I have also passed a few of those mods on by way of the "free" bit in the classies along with some I paid for, you can only use so many mods.


Gearbest do need to improve, but it will only ever be a gradual process. The likes of Isabel and Doris can only make suggestions, but while China is the best price around, they have no competition.

& I know that he works a lot behind '  the scenes ' to keep us updated & informed.

His generosity & honesty will never be in question IMHO

....now we loose a member , a good one ,.... tomorrow maybe 2 members ..and so on . We are here a small community of vapers , some of us starting to vape and learn many years ago. We have to stay close to each other and help. We start with a small list of vendors which now is a big one . Unfortunately many of this vendors start to became greedy , they sell lies ,they post items ''shipped in 24 hours'' which are not truly in stock , shipping delay and also problems to refund money. In my honest opinion this vendors have to loose their vendor status here .if nothing happened with them ,in a short time our forum will loose members and credibility , also we will be full of affiliates. I'm proud to be a member here and i consider it's an honour for any vendor to be here but they have to respect our forum rules and our members . Also we don't have to tolerate any lies from them , at the end of the day this is a forum made for people who like to learn about vaping and not only to advertise products . I like to see here many reviews about vaping stuff , to learn how to use vaping stuff , to start mixing and so on , not only advertising products like ''this is the best'' when is not. .. hope i will not bother any of you with my comment

Personally, I still use GB now and again for cheap stuff and would not like to see them use their vendor status as isabel22 works hard to straighten things out when they go wrong. If GB lost their status we would loose isabel22, but many of us would still buy from GB and get poorer customer service.

When you login today isabel22 take note that members have only had positive things to say about you.

believe or not for me many china vendors will be a big NO . Looking only for bargain is also a huge mistake IMO , is the prove we don't offer any support of local business and if they don't do any money they will not put the prices down also. I really want to see on our forum members advertising uk made products or made in cyprus , ireland ,scotland etc... and by the way , i just received from spain my vtc mini , i paid 50 euro . this is what china liar vendors they loose because of my problems with a vendor from here. from now i will sustain local vendors against china vendors.
