Confused :-/ how much e-liquid?

My riva kit should be here tomorrow and I want to make sure I know what I'm doing before I attempt to try it lol. Now I'm a bit lost! I smoke about 15 a day and they are 0.9 nicotine, I have ordered medium e-liquid -is this right/ok? Also, how much of the stuff should I be vaping each day?

Bee, the only questions that are stupid, are those that no one asks

I would say the medium is fine for you to start off with. If you find it's too strong for you, you can cut it with Glycerine. This will reduce the flavour though as well as the nicotine content. You can buy a 100 ml bottle of Glycerine BP from most chemists for about £1 or a small bottle from the baking section of a supermarket for about 50p

As for how much e-liquid you will use, on average, I'd say about 2ml per day for a 20 a day smoker.

I used to smoke about 17 nasties a day.
I now use about 2.5 ml to 3.5ml a day.
It all depends on how busy you are and at what strength your juice is.
Plus, sometimes I just love to vape, not because I need to, just because I like it.

Thanks guys just another quick question (sorry) how many cartomisers do you reckon I will need to be going on with for now? I ordered a pack of 5 with my riva kit but just debating whether to order another pack or two. Will I need them or can they wait? Thanks for putting up with all my questions, even though you've probably answered them a million times over to other people

I reckon a carto will last at least 10mls of juice, the problem in the beginning though is all the different juice you want to try!

Did you get cartomizers with your kit or cartridges with atomisers? If the latter, use these to try out new juices before filling a cartomizer with something you may not like!

Have a look at the Group Buy thread in member's only. That would be a good opportunity to stock up on cartos as Colli is right, spares are good! Unlike smoking you can't just pop down to the corner shop for supplies although the vendors recommended on here are very good at getting your orders to you next day

I asked Jason to swap out the atomiser for cartomisers with my kit.
Thanks I would really like to be in on the next group buy, the only problem is having looked at the health cabin site, I have no idea which cartomisers would be compatible with my kit :-[ it's all still a bit confusing lol

Any of the 510 fitting ones will be fine bee. The Boge are popular - I'd stick to the standard size ones to start with while you are trying out juices (i.e. not the XL or XXL).

I've tried a few different things and I keep coming back to these basic cartos and at that price you can afford to waste a few if the juice isn't to your liking

I think I'll definitely stock up on cartos with the group buy, maybe some more liquid too! I can see me having quite a collection before long!

No it's a Lava Tube and a Riva 1100 - not sure whata scredriver is (apart from the obvious)

No, it's my Riva, that screwdriver looks well made, bit of a short battery life though?
