Acrylic subtank bell tank

Anyone tried these acrylic tanks for the subtank mini?

Been having a trawl around Fastech, and it seems that you could buy, 5 each subtank bases, V2 RBAs and acrylic tanks for about $45:00. That would make 5 complete subtank minis for $9:00 each.

Looks like very good value to me, especially with the TPD on it's way.

Anyone tried?

Haven't tried those particular ones but i have got these.

The bell tanks are fine, also purchased 5 of the bases from there and that was a different story they were pretty shoddy.
Most of them had bits of swarf still inside from machining and a couple of them the positive pin was a little too short so you would not get a stable connection and the resistance reading would go nuts and short intermittently.

Honestly i would just buy the authentic bases if i were you and marry those with the bell caps, still way cheaper than buying a full authentic tank.

I would order the stainless version though, i ordered a normal subtank mini style clone in black once and the the paint fell off just from rinsing it under a cold tap straight out of the box.

Yes I have bought 5 x subtank clone bases, rbas, and both the tall and shorter Bell caps from FT reefcat and a couple of the FT SS (not black coated) top fill type glass tanks too..

all work a treat !! the shorter bell caps ( by 2mm or so) did take a good 5-10 mins with each cap screwing on n off to open up the thread and allow it to screw all the way down, the taller ones were a good fit out of the bag....

I have read that some FT clone black/white coated tanks have peeled very easily and FT dont consider that a flaw but a feature???? one chap iirc just rinsed his new black tank to find the rinsing water pulled paint off??

btw the difference between original and my FT clone bases is that the originals have 2 x air in vents while the clones have just the one, still enough for a wide open airy vape tho...

One of my bases has two holes yet feels restricted on of air flow , one of my bell caps cracked and I was using custard juice in it , the taller square topped one I got from there has bin mint and look sweet

Yep I've had 10 of the bellcaps and 10 bases all been fine so far reefcat , they work just like my authentic mini

Got to be worth a try then, even if I only get 3 or 4 out of 5 working, still good value.

So far i haven't run into problems with this set up i ordered them on 8/29/2015. arrived 10 day later this set up is all i use these day i use 3 with the coils i have stated and run the other 2 with ni200 coils www.fasttech.com/p/2330105 best set up i have used in over 3 years of vaping, i use these driptips aswell they fit perfect www.fasttech.com/p/2346303
