Hi, I'm using an aspire sub cf and Atlantis kit and am really enjoying the sub thing but the battery doesn't last a day :-( Just wondered what I can use along side(with my Atlantis) that is 20-40 quid with variable wattage maybe? Also love the box shape things like the isticks but not sure if I need 100w in future can't believe how complicated things have got since buying an ego :-D Any recommendations more then welcome even if it's buying something that costs more if it makes sense to me.

Isticks are very popular, the 100w version however uses removable batteries of which it needs 2x. the 30, 40, and 50w Isticks all have built in batteries, the 40w version also has the temp control feature, tho thats optional if you use it or not. fwiw 'my pick of the week' would be an evic Mini www.gearbest.com/temperature-control-mods/pp_239874.html and its available from the uk warehouse (days not weeks to deliver) in the kit form.. www.gearbest.com/starter-kits/pp_232175.html?wid=3(kit = includes an atomiser that isnt rated very highly ..) you will need batteries on top as the evic mini has no built in battery 2 x samsung 25rs can be sourced from the uk for circa a tenner or china for a little less but a longer wait just my 2p's worth..

Thanks, that evic looks perfect do you know if the battery life will be better then my aspire cf? I guess I can buy 4 batteries then swap them when at work? I'm a lorry driver and can be away all week. Lastly what would be a natural progression as far as tank goes for my new toy?

you should get a day or more vaping from a single battery tho that depends on how much and at what wattage you vape?? 40-60w vaping may reduce battery time to less than a day? Tank wise the TFv4 (circa £20 from gearbest) www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_211748.html?wid=3 is very popular and with 6 x off the shelf coil options as well as 2 x rba coil options, its very versitile. Im currently puffing on my tfv4 on my evic mini @40w, Great flavour from its quad coil head. The Uwell crown is another popular atty at the moment, ive not tried so cant comment. www.gearbest.com/clearomizers/pp_246034.htmlthe TFV4 is a big tank and there is a mini version due out soon.. the kanger subtank mini is also a very popular atty which many comment is very easy for diy coil builds if you choose that path otherwise there are off the shelf coil options 0.5ohm and 1.2 ohm in kanthal or 0.15 ohm in nickel for TC vaping.. www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_193601.html?wid=3when buying from Gearbest check where its coming from free delivery from the eu/uk warehouse takes 2-3 days while delivery from china can take significantly longer, 2 weeks or more... if using removable batteries a charger so you can charge batteries out of the mod is Very useful, but also adds to the expense.. uk source for batteries puremist.co.uk/ecigarette-accessories/pure-mist-batteries/2-SAMSUNG-25R-INR18650-25R-2500mAhChinese batteries www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_241350.htmlwill take longer than usual goods to deliver afaik Gearbest are honest when it comes to identifying clone/copy goods, these are authentic afaik. not bought myself but i have bought these from fasttech www.fasttech.com/p/2706700

The evic is great for £25. I only replace the battery once (25R) during the day, usually mid evening. Using a duel coil Ni setup. Its been much better with using battery power than the other TC mods I have.

I've ordered the evic mini plus 4 batteries from gear place for 36 quid delivered can't wait to fire it up Lastly will I need to charge the batteries on arrival? Can anyone recommend a charger to buy? And finally I see it has a usb connection on the front will I be able to charge in my truck on a 24v source with usb charger like my old istick? Many thanks for the help

Nice one nottmlad I have a evic mini Great devices.. I never ordered batteries from their but I'm guessing they will need a charge, depending on how much you'd like to spent on a charger I use a Efest Soda £10.99 I believe from Torchy the battery boy. I know you can charge the evic mini up via the micro usb port but not sure about the 24v source, tbh I don't see why you couldn't Good luck !

The batteries will need charging as they are shipped with only a storage charge in them ( about half capacity)

the charger i have, bought after recommendations in here is a nitecore D2, it has 240v ac input and 12v dc input.. you can charge the evic mini via usb with a 5v dc supply too. ebay link Just an example not a recommended seller/deal.. you may want to revisit the gearbest order and cancel the mod and order it separately as the battery shipping options are more limited and can take upto 6-8 weeks to arrive my batteries from fasttech took closer to 4 weeks to arrive, while non battery deliveries with no special options that cost extra will arrive within 2 weeks as a rule.. if batteries are in an order with more goods they will all be sent out together along the slowest route.. (you learn these tricks after being caught out... ) gearbest have a uk warehouse it only stocks a limited subset of goods, check on the ad page for the eu warehouse option, if its not on the ad page its not there, [a href="http://www.gearbest.com/warehouse/?wid[]=3"]gearbest eu/uk stocks (short delivery)[/a]

Many thanks for the help Yes. Or you can plug it in to the usb socket and "vape through" (which means you can use it while it's charging). You only need 1 battery though, as I imagine, as a lorry driver, it will be plugged in far more often than not. As long as the lead is long enough.....
