fairly sure thats what its called. so i used 26 guage as my core. and claptoned with 2 strands of 34 guage. removed one strand after both had been wound on to create a stagger then finally cut it in 2 placed in chuck and wound another strand of 34 between the gaps. took some time about 1 hour to make and coil/wick. also i wont use 34 again. its easy enough to use but i cant see the wire well once its on so took longer as a result pic quality is poor due to close range and poor camera
final result 5 wraps dual coil in a goliath V2 coming out at 0.17 ohms. very dense vape and great flavour

Funny, I was cogitating whilst driving between schools today, chugging away on my Subtank with some Strawberry Milkshake, and wondering what I should try next. I have a Smok XCube on the way, and also some fresh heads for the ST, and I really want to give the old TC another go in my Velocity, and it got me to thinking 'next time I'm in the Fasttech site, I'll pop some Clapton coils in my basket, just for a bit of fun!'. Might even wander off there now and see what I can find . . .

Guys and girls
On gauge sizes is the higher the number the thicker the wire?
On pre made ni80 what's a good gauge to go with?

Generally thickest you can buy easily that I found was 22 guage. Thinnest I have bought is 34 gauge. Never used ni80 so couldn't advise on best guage to get sorry
