What's up with SX Mini's ?

I am considering buying an SX Mini but a bit worried after seeing a couple in the 'For Sale' forum not getting sold. Are there any issues with these lovely looking mods or is it the price putting people off ?

I think you'll find that there's a new version coming out and thats what is why you're seeing more for sale

No real issues, people just move on and sell them on to buy other mods.
Mine hasn't been used in weeks due to dna200s

There was an issue with the paint finish on the first batch but that was fixed.
The board on my first one went tits up the screen was all scrambled and it wouldn't respond to any of the buttons being pressed, sent it back got a replacement and it's been absolutely fine.
It's a nice mod but i do tend to think it's overpriced for a mass produced product.
One thing i'm not very fond of is the battery cap, the tube is a brass alloy but the cap is steel so you need to be careful when threading the cap on so as to not damage the threads on the tube.

As above, far too expensive and i would think suffering badly compared to DNA200's . I still use mine and like it , but Yihi really need to up their game imo.

I wouldnt agree with that, its personal choice. It is a very well made mod just far too expensive and less feature packed than the likes of the DNA200

It's a well made mod I agree. The looks of it never did it for me but like you say it's personal preference. They always were overpriced from the beginning

And it only runs at partial power unless you do this

OK VW mod if you like the style, but nothing special, can't use the full power without the extension, rubbish temp limiting IMO, but mainly way over priced.

Nothing wrong with the SX Mini. I have had mine for a year and no issues what so ever. It still looks as good as it did when I first took it out of the box. The battery extension tube was a silly idea. It worries me a little when 60W is not enough power.
