In the clip after the device has been recognized I am clicking all the buttons when you see the cursor move and the software doesn't respond at all.

That looks to me like the program is in conflict, try uninstalling and clearing the registry, then restart and re-install.
Or maybe you have a program that is blocking certain aspects like a spyware or antivirus

I can tell you that there is no compatibility issues with windows 10 64 bit that I have encountered.

I contacted wismec via their contact page and requested their settings for escribe and this is the reply I got

blakey I have it working with a laptop with win 8.1 so It's fine for now. Thanks for the links though. My main PC is a gaming machine so I expect that there is conflict somewhere as I have lots of applications, utilities, games, peripherals and some which use COM ports for display calibration, head tracking, racing sim etc

It was suggested on UKV that I create another user profile in Windows but by the time I got around to doing that I dug out the laptop.

Another version coming out with a Joytech chip probably the same used in the new vapour flask  "vape forward" and different colours. Price not announced but should be cheaper than the DNA200 version.

I really like the black. A shame they didn't save the different colours for the DNA version rather than the cheaper one.

I didn't post the link specifically to show where it is available from and whether they ship to the UK. It was posted to show details on the product which is new and not much information was known about at the time. 

Anyway price will be $65.
