It still would not surprise me to see this pop up on Fasttech at full price but with the MAP code bringing the price right down, and Fasttech dont care what country they send it to, never have. It's already on Gearbest buddy so it's guaranteed www.gearbest.com/temperature-control-mods/pp_261056.htmlIf you need to know which seller I went through and costs then just send me a PM

Thanks majnu. If GB do get it as looks likely, then it will almost be certain that it will be the same price or lower with the free shipping etc so the groupbuy is not a goer in all probability.

The escribe software is a bit of a minefield. Just waiting on my registration to be approved over at their official forums which is also a bit of a mess when it comes to finding useful information. The Escribe software that was in the sticky was out of date and I couldn't get it to work with Windows 10 but thankfully someone pointed me to the latest one that did.
The battery and mod analyzer is what I want to do but I'm seeing people post all sorts of wacky contraptions they've either made or bought and that is what I am trying to find a guide on how to do and use.
Also running the case analyzer doesn't specify what gives inaccurate results or what is the correct procedure to run it so I need to look into that also.
- Change in Ambient temp, does it need to be kept consistent as I turned my heating on half way through and I have a feeling it messed things up - What is the recommended Battery start voltage, I have Samsung 30Q's - Do different batteries produce more heat when being charged therefore are people's results different - Are people testing with the battery cover on - Do you use the devices ambient temp or do you measure the rooms ambient temp?
etc

Just set the battery Wh and maybe the mod resistance (more important at very low ohms). The case analyser is to offset the affect that the heat from charging has on refinement mode, the main people that had problems with it were VaporShark users as the witless charging on the DNA40 produced a lot of heat. The battery analyser is more useful, still not necessary, it will give you a more accurate battery bar. Honestly just set the battery capacity and enjoy your new shiny.

etc God I'm beginning to go off the DNA200, It is nothing, just the effect of too much poor advice on the internet, but that has always been the case with temp sensing. Seriously it is amazing how some of the people I have seen in other places get overheated as they have a new setting, even getting angry, it is not like you have to change every setting on your TV before watching it.

If it isn't needed then why is it there? Also this EScribe software is very flaky. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. I don't know if it is a Windows 10 or 64 bit compatibility issue but again today I load it and no buttons respond.
If I was made aware that I was tied to this junk software in order to do any changes I would have stuck with my IPV4 or in fact bought a mod made from the new sxj chips.

I run escribe on windows 10 64bit with zero issues I've calibrated the battery and performed the case test and the mod resistance on 5 dna 200 units without a single glitch. The software is sound mate

I explained why they are there and why they are not needed, they are optional refinements you don't have to change a setting just because it there. You are not tied to software toe do any change, just a couple of things on the initial set up and if the mod maker has set it up first you don't need to use Escribe at all.
