I don't quite understand why this has only attracted 2010 signatures. It's all over Twitter, here, no doubt other forums too.
This OUR future.
ALL vapers should sign this without fail.
Spread the word, get it signed, encourage others to sign (non vapers most welcome.)
Come on folks.

Yes I was thinking that, 2.6 million vapers in the UK and we are looking at 3.85 percent to get round the 100000 mark. I think most vapers think it won't change once the TPD comes in.

I also think there are some folk who think because they have 30 mods, 40 attys and enough juice and nic to last them 99 years that's it's not their problem. Whilst it may not directly affect them I think we all have a responsibility to help smokers convert and save lives in the process. After all, we have seen the light and are benefiting. I hope ANYONE who wants to switch is given the chance we were.

I think the TPD is just the start of it, lets be truthful who really pushing this? tobacco industry and pharmaceutical industry, then there the tax's the governments are losing, direct from sale £13 billion and the tax collect from the tobacco companies'. it's not in the governments interest for us all too stop smoking.

Not saying this is 'true' - but at school the stereotype perpetuated of the smokers, was that they were unmotivated, self-interested, lazy (the ones who walked cross country ) and obviously didn't think of the future repercussions of their actions. Now this was a school teacher and non-smokers image mind you. I do sometimes wonder though, from a psychological perspective, if this stereotype does have any basis in behavioural 'traits', then just because they've made a switch from smoking to vaping (for health, economic or social reasons), that wouldn't mean any of the other behavioural traits would change with it. Vapers on forums do tend to be of the more motivated and curious type - and break the 'mould' set by this stereotype - but if my teachers assessment were at all accurate, then the degree of response and apathy would be expected

Most vapers are not on forums, or at least not vaping forums. Take AAEC for instance, there are 8700 members, but of those there are maybe 500 active members, and some of those will be on other forums as well. So in reality very few active people to sign petitions.
