I replaced my 2 dead 20 w versions with a genuiene one from FT, but it definatly seems a bit duff. My original 20W could make up to 48 hours on one charge when new, and was still giving 8 after 10 months of hard use, the second one failed miserable from day 1, used for 3 weeks and given away. This new 40 w one (I vape 3 ohm at 9.5 w) is useless, 8 hours if lucky and today four and half hours charging and still saying not fully charged !!!
Opinions please, should I complain, or just write it off and look at other devices not Eleaf ?
It's bloody anoying, I wrote another thread saying that isticks died, then all backups decided to follow, at this rate be back to the lavatube buried in a hidden cupboard somewhere !!!!!

I suppose it depends on how much vaping you do, but I find my 40w doesn't last the day either. I have two and just swap them over when one dies. I think ELeaf fibbed when giving the ratings for this unit. The battery capacity doesn't seem to match the use figures somehow.

Thanks BobsbeerI've decided after typing above that i'll send FT a "polite" email, not complaining but questioning, my 20w had same use pattern but definatly lasted a lot longer, and 4 half hours charging seems strange. MP PS it's up to 5 now and still charging

Mine usually charge faster than that, but not timed them. Maybe 2 or 3 hours.

I have a clone 20w istick that the charging light never goes out on mart166 it's just a fault with the light as checking it is fully charged after around 2 or 3 hours and works perfectly. My istick 40's I use in tc mode but find that they last around three quarters of the time that the 20's did. Mine take between 2 and 3 hours to charge depending on whether I run them out or not. I have 2 so it's not a problem for me.

Less staying power for the 40W is a much reported occurrence.
I only use the 30W but Angie uses the 40W. She is charging them more often than the 30Ws they replaced.
Not seen any reports of long charging though.
If you don't use TC or the extra Watts I think the 30W is a better buy.

All credit to FT they offered to replace it, but need my one back first, which leaves problem as due to bad luck even my backup backups have gone to makers heaven, think i'll order a 30w then hopefully get this one replaced. Life on the end of a USB lead at moment lol.

If not you should go for the 60w with replaceable battery www.kingzofvapour.com/collections/variable-voltage-mods/products/istick-60w-kit-w-melo-2The swappable battery makes the life much easier
