Found this clone recipe earlier and sounds interesting.

They Say...

This lively blend is reminiscent of the lost vintage drink known as the “Lime Rickey,” but with a sweet champagne substitute. The effervescent note of horehound herb is counterbalanced by a sweet cream, vanilla bean, a hint of roasted almond, and a twist of lime.

6% Vanilla bean ice cream (TPA)
4% Sweet Cream (TPA)
4% Horehound (TPA)
3% Caramel Original (TPA)
3% Champagne (TPA)
1% Toasted Almond (TPA)
1% Key Lime (TPA)
1% Smooth (TPA)
1% Sweetener (TPA)
0.5% Menthol

I need Horehound and Champagne for this then I'm giving it a go

I can imagine kreed with Horehound being a Cough Candyesque type of flavour . . . . Happy Endings, VC combined with Menthol wasn't to my tastes - but others enjoy it.

Never say never until you've tried it.

Though a small sample to test seems wise of this . . . . .

Just a heads up, I've tried a similar recipe and it's an acquired taste. The only tip would be, go easy on the Horehound as it can over power the mix.

I'm very tempted to swap this:

4% Horehound (TPA)......... which I don't have

for this:

1% Afro Dizziac (T-Juice) ........which I do have (thanks letsavit )

Both herbal aniseeds so I'm thinking it's ok.

Just do 20% Afro and get rid of the rest, best recipe ever.....

Pretty damn yummy..............velocity needs to go through the dishwasher tonight though
