I have four tanks, and i have to keep changing the wicks when i want to test liquids. is there a way i can do this without getting more tanks? I thought about getting a dripper but even then i would think you would have to keep changing the wicks. do you guys have loads of tanks? thanks.

I have a fishbone with no wicks just for testing flavours. It works for me.

I've got loads of everything if I'm honest . . . . but that's another story. Serious answer, I make 10ml samples of flavours new to me and either use a dripper or something like a mini Protank until I've used the whole 10ml up, then change wicks as they're super simple/quick to change. I'm not one to flit from batch to batch of eliquid as it does my head in having too many ' started ' bottles on the go at one time.

I have 9 opened bottles and their corresponding tanks all on the go at the minute ... it was a bloomin' nightmare sorting out what was in each tank when one of the cats jumped onto the shelf and knocked them all for six

A TC dripper is the best way to test liquids. Add a couple of drops........and vape till dry. Then try the next one

It's a Ni200 coil in any dripper on a mod capable of temperature control. The benefit here is it only vapourizes the juice..........and the temperature control protects the cotton from burning. So a couple of drips of a liquid.......vape till gone.......then try the next one.

Check out YouTube. A TC dripper is any dripper that has been coiled with a ni200 or Ti coil and used in a temperature limiting mod ... You can then vape it dry without burning the cotton wick and then simply change juice flavours. ETA by kreed

You could always go old school and get LR306 bridged atomizer no wicks to worry about. I used these for a long time before I got into rebuilds.

while wicking a tank atty can take a lil time and patience ensuring the wick is fluffy and covers /fills where it needs to to dam the flow of juice while maintaining a good wicking action. a dripper wick just needs to be dragged through the coil and wetted so pulling out and rewicking is a 20-30 second job if you have cut strips in advance if just sampling cut the wick short so it just absorbs a drop or 4 of juice to saturate

Drippers are ideal for testing; I have a Plume Veil, a Magma, and a Velocity, all used for that purpose. All are dual coiled, and take only a few seconds to whip out the old wick, a quick dry burn to clean the coil, and then pop in some new wick. Doesn't need to be a pretty job, and is much quicker than a tank.

Sorry about the lack of response, I had to deal with lots of non-vape issues yesterday. puffer2 welcome to the forum btw, us noobs should stick together. These guys know their vaping stuff and no mistake, but keep an eye on your wallet. They keep recommending ace goodies and brilliant places to buy shiny new things. icon_shoppingm As @yinyang so expertly put it, a fishbone is a make of dripper. There is not fluid tank or reservoir, just a shallow well under the coil area where some fluid can pool and be drawn by a wick to the coil/s. You can use single, dual or quad coils in them and all kinds of custom wrapped wire and chain style coils. The benefit is, that you can use a drop or two and not have to change tanks for a different juice. I use mine without a wick and just fire once or twice to get a taste. Then a quick dry burn to clear the coil for the next one. kreed has a much better solution which I never thought of. I will make a titanium coil for my dripper and use my temp control enabled mod to fire it. When a TC coil runs dry, the box limits the power to it to stop the overheat. Therefore no burnt wick but dry and ready for a new juice. Seemples. I'm orf to build a titanium coil or two right now. Geoff
