Hi guys, i might need to cut my boots vg with a bit of distilled water, but i cant seem to find any, the only thing i can find is ionised water which i have been told is not the same stuff, and you wouldn't want to vape it. Dose anyone know if this is true or where i can buy distilled water thanks.

You could always make your own, just boil the kettle and let it cool down and you have distilled water.

Whilst boiled water isn't distilled . . . . I do know of a number of vapers who use it happily and without issues to thin their mixes, if they'd prefer not to use Vodka.

I just use plain tap water (the same stuff that I add to my whiskey) ... A couple more microbes here and there makes little difference to the mix in my experience.

I place water in a pot. Place empty bowl in the water Put pot lid on upside down so handle is over bowl. Put a smaller pot on lid filled with cold water. Boil 10 mins Remove top pot and lid and you have distilled water in bowl

With pg just give it a good shake with some space in the bottle to make it a bit easier and it should be good to go, recently I just decant the vg into a dropper bottle and use it just like that with pg in the mix, I think distilled water might b good if you have a very high vg mix though like 90%+ vg or if you want to avoid pg as much as possible but not have very thick liquids.

Thanks for the offer phatfil i will pm if i get desperate, might give jcol method a go. I vape at 70 pg 30 vg so i might not need to thin it at all . If this is your mix ratio then you shouldn't need to thin the VG

I vape at 70 pg 30 vg so i might not need to thin it at all . I wouldn't think you would with that high a ratio of PG puffer2 . . . . should be fine ' neat '. The only advantage thinning would have is to make your VG less gloopy - perhaps see how you cope first? by lisburnvapes.
