Welcome scoops. Nothing much to add. The kit that Chrissie mentions is very similar to one that got me off the cig-a-likes, into vaping and giving up the stinkies. I know quite a few people who gave up smoking and have stuck with the kit mentioned above and are quite happy. My next step was to pro-tanks like these Protank 2 and then got a better battery....and so the decline into shiny-itis starts.... You have have to invest a bit, but do as you will have better luck giving up the smokes. Nick

Thanks for the further help and welcomes. Today I got 10ml of e-liquid from Poundland to refill the E-Lites CURV tips, and it seems to be pretty much as good as the originals One thing that concerned me slightly, the lids of the CURV tips seem to be stuck on with rubbery glue, and when I got the lids off there were bits of the glue stuck to the lids and the sponge inside. I wondered if it was ok to vape after pouring more liquid over all this - but I'm guessing it's still much healthier than baccy right? I thought I might order the cheap eGo setup next, and make do with refilling the CURV tips until it arrives. Do I just need this to begin with: www.fasttech.com/products/0/10018096/3727208-ect-h2-ego-t-650mah-rechargeable-e-cigaretteor do you think I need this as well: www.fasttech.com/products/0/10007168/3652206-h2-bottom-coil-clearomizer-8-pieces ?

scoopsThe battery will be ok as a cheap starter, but you will need extra atomisers, just for instance if your out for the day you can carry a spare full up, maybe 8 a bit of overkill, but they are cheap. I cannot point you to anything else as my anti virus has decided that FT is a bad site and wont let me into it. MP

You can refill what you have for a while. See how you go.
Fasttech stuff will take a while to arrive and you might have some issues quite soon - I'd hate to see you resort to buying more E-Lites refills...
Maybe get a cheap eGO kit from Homebargains or Asda or something. B & M stores sometimes do e-cigs.

I would order the extra battery and the extra clearomizers. The clearomizer will need replacing after a while like the cartomizer part on your E-Lite will it can only be refilled and used so many times before the coil and wick stop performing like they should, the vapour production will drop off and maybe start not tasting as good, at pennies a throw it's worth ordering a bunch. A spare battery is always handy firstly you have one to use while the other is charging and secondly something might happen to one where it stops working so you have a backup.

Oh I see, so I would need the 3 things you originally suggested dr00g, including the battery.

Well I've got 3 old E-Lites refills (lost the lid to one!) and they're sending 2 new ones to replace a wrong charger I bought. If that's likely to see me through, I quite fancy ordering the Fasttech setup.

Better to order it all at once than discover you do want an extra battery 2 weeks down the road and then having to order one and wait weeks for another to be delivered.

Them bottom coil h2 clearos are what my Mrs uses still, she loves em. I get mine of ebay tho as she usually needs em quick cos shes broke em. I get 10 for £7. We do use me own rebuilt coils in em tho so cant vouch for the quality of the heads but the tanks are pretty much the same quality as FT H2s. The only thing I would look out for if you get a cheap kit from a local shop is dont get the C4/Ce5 with the top coils as they are just a bit sh-t.

I will never forget the kindness of someone who, when I started vaping, 4 years ago, sent me 2 mouthpieces (drip tips) on the pretence that I would 'need them'. It wasn't hugely expensive but the kindness of that person on here meant heaps!!! Sit down & take a pew.
