Well funnily enough Perpetua, it was vapeclub I got the Innokin from! They resolved it quickly though, so I’m happy with that. I’ll see what else they’ve got, thank you

Thanks, I got the refund. Now I have to find a new non-dangerous vape!

Thanks Perpetua, yes that’s the one, T18E. If this is a known issue, I’m confused about why this is still in circulation. Based on my experience, the problem is still there! I think I might try to get a refund.

Hi all, I got an Innokin endura just 2 months ago, and this morning it started auto-firing - it’s like it’s switched on all the time. Had to unscrew the battery to stop it. The company have offered to replace it, but I’m not sure if I trust them now. Seems to me that this could potentially cause a fire or something if it happened when I wasn’t around.
I’d appreciate your opinion on this, like whether you think I’m overreacting or not… would you accept a replacement without worrying about it much?
Thanks

Speaking of litter etc, can old batteries go in the battery recycling bins at supermarkets? I’ve a bunch of dead ego batteries lying around.

It was a new hygienist, seems to be new staff every time I visit. I’ll see what happens next time I see the dentist.

I saw a hygienist today, and she wanted to know how much I vaped, what flavours, whether I had coloured liquid or not, and nicotine content! Advised me to only vape as much as I used to smoke, go for colourless liquid, and reminded me about the popcorn lung thing. It was surreal, to say the least.

Yeah they followed up: “some LiQuids change from clear to not clear depending on how they are stored and time since creation”

I got a surprising reply from Liquid. First they say their liquids are either clear or gold-coloured - strange because I’ve had liquid from them that’s been yellow, bright red, almost black etc. Then they say they don’t use any colouring, so I’m wondering how the liquid ends up being sometimes clear and sometimes gold (plus in my experience different colours).

Oh yeah it’s nothing compared to smoking! I had ridiculous stains from that.
I might shoot Liquid an email asking if they do colourless liquid, or if they can say which ones are coloured.

Hi, my dentist says vaping can stain teeth, but it depends on many factors ie. what product etc. I get my liquid from onepoundliquid, some of which has colouring. Don’t know if that is more likely to stain but I don’t like coloured liquid anyway, wish they didn’t bother. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Haha thanks DaveJ , good to know. My vape fell through a hole in my pocket, probably newly-formed from the vape itself, and I found it when retracing my steps. Got a spare vape, and another temperamental old one for emergencies.

Most probably, theres not a lot of maintenance you can do to them other than a q tip or kitchen roll down the 510. I have found in the past if you take them apart the board is usually covered in juice causing the usual rouge issues. Funnily enough I’ve just dug this out over a year later, and it works fine. Maybe whatever juice got inside dried up and made it work again.

Hi guys, yesterday I dropped my ego 510 in the park. I found it today, lying in the grass in 29 degree heat. When I picked it up it was hot, but not too hot to touch it - like touching a car seatbelt on a hot day. It’s cooled down now - do you think it’s safe to use? Just checking in case there’s a slight danger of it blowing up on me or something, cheers..
