What's the general view? I have some liquids coming up for being out of date. Are they going to be ineffective, nicotine decomposed to nothing or some such, flavour totally gone (not that I can taste much anyway) ... deadly if vaped? (Seriously, I do doubt that last one, I'm just joking.)

Much like food - I don't get hung up on use/sell by dates username . . . . if it smells ok, I use it. ( This country seems obsessed by such dates resulting in alot of unnecessary wastage, when all that is required is some common sense. Not that I'm suggesting you haven't when all this is new to you. ) Eliquid stored correctly is good for a couple of years from being mixed - although flavour/nic strength is likely to peak off after that length of time.

username Nothing wrong with late date juice, on the contary most sellers will perioidcally have a clear out at reduced prices which makes them a source of cheap juice to try.

If it's called "Pipe sauce" chuck it in the bin and inform the local council. If it's called "Grant's Vanilla Custard" send it up to the space station for plugging holes in the dermis of the space craft. Otherwise, chances are it's fine. (Although I had an LT Grapefruit that had suffered a permanent error in it's formulation after 2 years!)

I had 2 month past their bb date nic patches on a 5 hr train journey in the summer. They were cheap & you can't vape on trains. No problems. Shouldn't worry. However reiterate what dj said. Lol.

Thanks for the replies. I was essentially just looking for any reason not to use them. Currently, of two (amaretto and a coffee) coming up for out of date, the amaretto still tastes fine. The coffee, however, is completely dead. It's like vaping water. It would be better to sit in a sauna for an hour, breathing very deeply (as one might anyway lol). That said, I've yet to have a coffee flavour that had much impact at all. They all tasted like the cheapest 'instant' you could buy at knock off prices at a boot sale. But then, all "real" instant coffee tastes like that to me anyway. I'm also trying to assess nicotine effect, so I guess I can eliminate the date issue for my lack of sense of satisfaction. ... It's also good to know that I don't have to throw away a lot of liquid. ( This country seems obsessed by such dates resulting in alot of unnecessary wastage, when all that is required is some common sense. Not that I'm suggesting you haven't when all this is new to you. ) That may be true, but some people are seriously allergic to certain moulds, and 'out of date' is a risk. Indeed, it often can be with some foodstuffs before going out of date. I didn't have any such concerns regarding these liquids, however.
