The Wismec DNA200mod some concerns

Ive just seen this posted on FB and there seems to be a little concern about the thinness of the battery wires used in this mod.
VapingBad what do you recon.

Did it say what thickness they are? This has been on evolv forum too but I didn't realise that the wire is thicker on the b+, it's just weird why the wire on the b- is the same as the balance charging wires..

No he didn't say what gauge it was. I understand that they have gone for thin wire to squeeze it all in there, just hope they haven't gone below Evolv's specs.

I saw it earlier on the Evolv forum and asked if anyone had measured them, no answer yet.
The min spec fro the battery wiring is
PVC 18 AWG 1.29 mm diam conductor
Silicone 20 AWG 1.02 mm diam conductor

The balance wires (thin ones) can be very thin as max current is only 0.04 A.

As Scooby & gm111 pointed out on the Evolv forum the negative wire is significantly thinner than the positive, you can see it better in these pics.
As Flavoured pointed out on ECF the negative should be from the other end of the battery pack, maybe they are using the chassis would like to see more pics.

I'm sure the certified only UK vendors that can sell this mod have thoroughly tested it for our safety....

It is not just safety Evolv have said that too thin wiring even on the battery wires destabilises temp sensing.

As long as that is flame retardant and self extinguishing plastic the worst that should happen is that thin black wire burns out and the mod stops working.

mine is if they cant get the gauge of the wire correct ill give it a miss.

I seen a vendor earlier today saying that the reuleaux doesn't pack a punch anything like the lipo dna200s or even the kooper 200w could this be why VapingBad , surely not? Not a very good salesman saying this but vendors like that are good stopping customers buying something they don't feel is right..
