It's a piss poor turnout for the amount of Vapers in this country!!! I'm sure if they can get 70,000 signatures in two days to get Tyson Fury booted off SPOTY we can do better than 2,000 signatures out of 2.7 million vapers!!! I'm not prepared to be told what I can and can't talk about in a so called Free country!!! No more Forums no more Vapefest, They can kiss my arse!!!

It may interest some here to know that Ian Gregory, the man behind this site, also sponsors the All Party Parlimentary Group on ecigs chaired by Mark Pawsey MP. He also runs ABZED, a PR company that has form with ecigs (see link). I do regard this campaign as serious and credible - I'm not au fait with the wiles of lobbyists, but if they think a single issue like threatening the EU vote is a reasonable tactic, I'm certainly willing to give it a go.

I have signed, but I think it was an error to make the EU threat - whatever side of the fence you are on. I am glad that there is a lobbyist company talking directly government as that is really the only way to get anything changed in government. Politicians pretty much ignore these petitions and get a civil servant to write a neutral response, as we saw with the last one that got 10,000 signatures. We are up against big pharma who spend millions on lobbyists and a well as "owning" The WHO. Big Tobacco are quite happy to let things move forward as they will be the other beneficiary. I am sorry tone so negative but this debate is not about public health or the rights of citizens it is about big business' profits and control of an emerging category. Do you really think they will let us win? Nick
