Well in three posts you're clear on what you "want" paulbee . Maybe you'd "want" to introduce yourself in the new members section before any members would "want" to hand over their hard earned. Adding your location and a "For sale" label will keep you on the right side of Chrissie and her team.

Hello and welcome to you paulbee . . . . striker42 has pointed out what you need to address in order to use our Classified Board. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/5101/classified-rules?page=1&scrollTo=115098Incidentally, it would also be helpful if you actually specified postage costs and which service you intend using. Until you add your location, your other two threads have been removed from this Board. Whilst there isn't a ' rule ' that any new Members have to introduce themselves, I've always thought it a nice courtesy - especially if you are hoping for complete strangers to give you their money.

I'm always wary of buying stuff like batteries from places like Fast Tech. How can you be sure these are genuine? 12 dollars for 4 seems ludicrously cheap to me!

Although I'm instinctively more trusting of a reputable UK vendor than somewhere that openly sells knock off goods. Don't get me wrong I'm not against this completely. All 3 of my drippers are clones. And my mech. But anything that could potentially explode? I'd much rather pay £10 for 2 from somewhere full of reviews stating their safety. Just my opinion.

catface26Openly sells knock offs? They sell 'cloned' or 'styled' versions but they also sell authentic items. And when they say genuine, they generally are. It's all up front not forgery or counterfeiting, you have the choice to pay less for a copy or more for a genuine article. The point here is that the imported genuine article is a fraction of the price you find at your local B&M or warehouse importer because they put such a ridiculous mark up onto it. There is another thread somewhere which shows the exact same Wismec RX200 as many of us bought for £32 from E Top Fun for sale in the UK by some company representing Joyetech UK for £79. Presumably they bought in bulk for a fraction of the cost which we have paid. At least the china companies are honest about their stock, you only have to look at the reports all over the web about unscrupulous importers of those hoverboard things that all the chavs want this year. Even though it is illegal to use one on any public land they are in every shopping centre, market and online auction site. The build quality is laughable and the CE marking if any is a fake. People are trusting however because the importers are charging full price or more for the item and don't give a flying fornication if little jimmy and family die in their sleep because the dodgy lipos went critical during a night time trickle charge. Seriously, I wouldn't trust a UK importer as far as I could comfortably shit one. Instinct has cack all to do with it.

"Kmock-off" does imply dishonest counterfeiting you're right so wrong terminology but still, whether or not they're honest about it, they are still producing an identical product against the wishes of the owners of the original. Take my Freakshow mini for example. It has the freakshow logo on the side and the bottom. Fair enough making an exact copy but adding the logos as well is just bad practice. China don't give a shit about copyrights so all I'm getting at is - what makes you think they would think twice about selling dodgy batteries?
Sure there are plenty of dishonest UK vendors too that import crap products which is why I said reputable. They are vendors out there that care about their customers.
I may be completely wrong here but it's just the feeling I get. Like I say I'm being hypocritical as I do buy clones but a bit of machined metal is completely different in my eyes to something electrical or something that could cause you serious harm.

I've been buying 25r's from FT ant just over 12 quid for 4. They advertise them as authentic and I have no reason to think otherwise. They have performed as expected.

Completely fair enough. I did say I could be completely wrong.

paulbee . . . . I see that you were online an hour ago, but still haven't added your location to your profile or added postage costs/specified service. If you are unsure how to add your location, then you can always PM one of us for assistance. Please be aware, there are only so many chances that will be given until this thread is also removed.

Bought these too after a good word was put in for them by robby (IIRC, if not sorry robby) and no complaints. Waiting on another 4 from FT and 4 from Gearbest, hopefully soonish.

I received six from GB a few days ago, wasn`t happy with the packing, two of them were more or less wandering around inside the package unprotected. Price was crazy in their sale, about £9 for 6. I have three in the Wismec DNA and they are still going strong after two and a half days, still 3.6V in each of them, No doubts about their authenticity personally
