loobie the heads are the bits with the wick and chimney that screw into the base of the protank, they actually evaporate the liquid giving you the vapour.

www.fasttech.com/products/3032/10012619/2232102 - a nice shiney silver istick clone (I know you like silver ) £12.97 for the full kit inc charging lead. They are under a tenner without a lead but you'll need the lead for the first one. I have received my goodies today but am confused with what to do. What do the different wattages do? Also it says I can change the voltage and the output wattage - what difference would that make

Start low at say 7 or 8 watts and sed how you go, you can increase wattage slowly if you feel the need. To switch from voltage to wattage mode or vic versa, 3 quick clicks of the fire button

Thanks Greg I 'may' have played with the voltage too. Is there a level I should be setting it at?

Thanks Greg I 'may' have played with the voltage too. Is there a level I should be setting it at? It's hard to say what setting to set your voltage at without knowing the resistance of your atty coil. And that's the beauty of watts mode, it doesn't matter (within reason) what your atty resistance is when in watts mode but it does in voltage mode. if you know your atty resistance I can tell you how to work out what voltage to use using ohms law, but if you put it in watts mode there's no working out required oh and and you can only set volts or watts deepening on the mode your in, you can't set both.

I suspect loobie is using a 1.8 silica wick coil in a mini protank in which case I'd start at 5w (it won't go below that anyway) then increase gradually until you find the "sweet spot" for whatever juice you are vaping, I find I don't go over 6w with Joose Juice Soft Mint and rarely go above 8w with any "fruit" flavours - custards and higher vg liquids like it a bit higher.

So she can set it at 5watts or in voltage mode with that 1.8 coil can set it at 3 volts and the result will be 5 watts output For 8 watts in voltage mode set to 3.8 volts with the same 1.8 coil.
