Interesting ceramic coils and mod Vaporesso

The mod colours are pretty crap, it looks like a toy

I'd tried ceramic coils before and thought they sucked big time.

The flavour was great but they just couldn't keep up with the wicking.

These new ones are quite different though.

The flavour is really spot on , very clean.

Personally I love the look of the white one, but that is the star wars / storm trooper geek in me.

It`s the coil set up that caught my eye, interesting. You would hope there is some sort of preheat there, must be harder to get that set up up to temp

This could be a game changer providing the ramp up time is short.

No gunked coils and presumably easy to clean..........just need to wait for Smok to get a TVF4 version of this ceramic coil head out there.

My black Target Kit arrived yesterday from from Heaven Gifts, including a sample Target Tank, which was the same as the one included in the kit but with spare glass tube & o-rings, both had 0.9ohm coil installed and spare 0.15ohm Ni-200 coil, whipped out the 0.9 and replaced with the Ni-200, and have the mod @ 500F and 50w - it can definitely keep up with the wicking - no burnt hits at all, personally I would have liked a bigger (5ml) tank especially as it is only bottom fill, Vaporesso's Orctank should be a bit better, same capacity but is top fill.

Haven't noticed any ramp up time, but don't forget this is with the Ni-200 coil, it may be different with the Kanthal one on a non-TC mod robby
I like the mod, it fits nicely in the hand and have just ordered the Silver one on pre-order from Heaven Gifts, shame you are not up this way, because I will be bringing the Black one to the Vape Meet on Saturday

Oh bugger, I was walking down the stairs with my laptop in my hand, fell and pressed some buttons. In a bizzare coincidence I seem to have ordered the SS one with a black tank and some spare coils by DHL in a pre order, ah well, cant be helped

robby  I just put one of the 0.9ohm coils in an Atlantis v1 that needed a coil change on my iStick 50w, recommended w is 20-35 so I tried it at 50, burnt taste - knocked it back to 40w and it was a lot better, have now set it to 35w recommended high and it works fine no problems at all, doubt I will buy any of the stock 0.9ohm coils but the Ni-200 will definitely be added to my stock, also note that FT now have some of those gold plated Ni-200 Claptons to order: www.fasttech.com/p/3925200

Yes, I suppose that the sucking power of ceramics has it`s limits but to be honest, I see no reason to go above my 20ish watts and really looking forward to TC ing on the ceramic setup with nickel coils
 The PG/VG ratio will probably have a big influence on the usable power as well.

Quite possibly, I normally vape high VG juices although I do have some 50/50s as well.
