stop what you're doing (reading this).. And go get em! 1. Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA 2. UD Bellus 3. OBS Crius I could go into why I highly recommend these 3 as must haves but I figure it's subjective as we all look for varying factors when vaping.. I will say this which should be universal to all.. it you are looking for great flavour and masses of vapour you really can't go wrong with these 3.. The Bellus in particular chucks out so much vapour I sometimes get lost in the clouds!.. The Steam Crave is 1 of the greatest for flavour imo.. The Crius is superb for both.. It's difficult to rate which 1 out of the 3 is best.. I might give it to the Steam Crave.. Value for money it had to be the Bellus (cheapest out of the 3).. thanks for for reading and happy vaping

Welcome serialvapist, I just got an Aromanizer and am very impressed and think one of the great things is how easy horizontal wicking is compared to most, if I think about wicking that compared to an Orchid or even a Kayfun it is so much less effort. I see you are in London, we are having a meet tomorrow in the West End if you fancy it, it is very relaxed and you don't need to add your name to the thread just turn up and bring a friend or two if you want, link.

I purchased a UD Bellus, sure it chucks clouds and with flavour but all those holes in the afc ring make it whistle like a 60 a day smoker running up a flight of stairs.
the wicking is a pain in the butt the top fill seal pressurises the tank and punishes any less than perfect wicking by emptying the tank through the afc the tank seals, particularly the bottom one, go out of shape too easily
I got a Billow at the same time expecting the bellus to be somewhat easier to live with.....wrong. If you can wick a Goblin mini and expect the Bellus to be the answer to its quirky leaks and monotonously dropping the tiny filler screw or its likewise minute 'O' ring....wrong!
Buy a Billow V2

I've read loads about how it should match RDA flavour so I'm probably building wrong although I'm following build guides to the letter. Got an Aromamizer on the way with the velocity deck so hoping it's easier to work with.

guess who couldn't get his UD to again today. the damned thing sits there on my desk, taunting me with promise of 'the RDA experience in a RTA, which adopts new design of side airholes to ensure never leaking, and direct blow coil, extreme vaper production'. And 95% of the time all it does is leave me wondering when it will leak. I had it running lovely earlier today at 100w/230*C with some dual SS coils at 0.15ohm, no dry hits (as you should expect with TC), no gurgling, no leaking and a healthy stream of bubbles from the juice wells. Oh yeah! I was having a cloudy afternoon with some rhubarb and custard juice, so sharp and tangy I should have been wearing a bib. So with about 1.5ml to go I refilled it and placed it on a stand waiting for the damned thing to leak. Believe me I don't trust it so I take it off. Ten minutes later I put it back on my mod and on the first vape.....it sounds the wet overwicked gurgle and starts to come out of the AFC. Back to the drawing board? Nope back to the box. The amount of time I have spent trying to get the 'beautiful (m)' to work more than one tank full at a time is stupid.

Haven't tried those yet but for me my workhorse is the billow v2.
Once you get the knack of wicking it ( took me 2 attempts ( common sense plus trial and error)) it's a superb RTA.
It handles high VG , if handles low ohm builds , it handles 50 watts ( which is high enough for me).
The flavour is bloody lush .
Downside ? Glass tank is easy to crack if dropped as its not protected in a metal frame.
But at the moment it's my face RTA.

Ive heard the aromamizer is a good RTA and from what I've read on it is petty simple to build on, I've got a bellus and other than it being a bit of a pig to build on I can't fault it, you don't need to be using Clapton coils ect on it the vapour and flavour from it is awesome and I'd say it equals my drippers, leek wise I've had a bit if I've had my cotton in there for a few weeks and it pasted it and that's only really when I fill it. I not had a issue wicking other than what I've said but I do use cotton balls can't justify spending £5 on cotton for noticeable benefit other than a bit of extra usage
But as with anything vape wise it's subjective and only my two pence

I have a Billow nano on an ivpD2, with a pair of ti coils for 0.15ohms its my daily tank vape. Strangely enough it also/only took two attempts at wicking and was totally issue free for three weeks with 70%vg Kreeds Custard. I rebuilt it on Friday because it was looking a bit gunky and expect another two to three weeks of hassle free vaping. I don't usually vape at much over 40w with a dripper but I was vexed with the bellus and made the SS coils out of 0.5mm wire. Turned out they needed 80w+ to trigger the temperature control, I didn't expect that much ramp up time even after cutting the preheat and giving them a straight 100w. I'll put that one down to experience.

I've found the Bellus will leak if there's not enough wick. I sit the wick no lower than that first little shelf. You should hear a click when you put the deck in the tank. The wick also acts as a barrier for leaking. My biggest problem is coil placement. I've read that the coils should be directly behind the AFC slots for best flavour but when I do this I find the draw to tight. If the coils are just above the AFC slots the air flow is great but flavour is pretty bland. No warmth. Just don't get it cause on my Freakshow RDA for example, the airflow is even more open than the Bellus but is rich in flavour. Sometimes I think it's me but it can't be cause the flavour is there when dripping. Also getting better flavour out of my subtank than the Bellus. I know it's the build but I'm stumped regarding the best build as all the ones I've tried aren't hitting the spot. Dual vertical coils in the Aromamizer should hopefully fix all this!
