I've been abusive and rude to an old friend of many here on the forum and I feel I need to set the record straight. It started a few days ago when my favourite mod, my vt40 developed problems and had to be sent away to hopefully be repaired. I then realised I was pretty much modless as my daughter had managed to lose my sigelei in a taxi and break my hana clone. I then realised I had an old faithful friend that could maybe help, this friend of many is the friend I've been abusive towards. So over the last couple of days I've sworn at, cursed at and generally been abusive and disrespectful to this old faithful of the forum because false pride got in the way and now I regret it. This friend is....... The Vamo v5 !!! I was mega peed off having to dust my v5 down and throw in a battery and cursed away at the thought and almost the entire time I was using it, but you know what, it flippin works and it works well. A 1.8 ohm build in a subtank 13watts and it's still a reasonably satisfying vape. So to all of you out there with a Vamo sitting in the back of a dusty draw, don't forget that friend. Once you were proud to be seen out with your Vamo and you never know you might one day have to grip it again, so if you do, grip it with pride and love...... There's a lot of crappy mods out there but we never thought that of our trusty vamos. Someone even commented with a laugh that I was retro Vaping but I for one won't be parting with mine. Jay.... Quite possibly bored .... But it's true

My Vamo (Vamos x 4 how did that happen, oh yes a billy can't be missed bargain someone here spotted months ago....) was in permanent use for my yard until recently when it was ousted by a little Vamo box mod as a tube isn't practical for shoving in a small pocket however it will be re-instated from it's velvet lined pouch in the very near future as the box is just not as reliable and is doing my nut in. I'm a low watt MTL vaper anyway so it's nah bother to me that it has limitations, paired with a trusty indestructible steel caged Nautilus it's a trooper out and out even with bits of fluff, hay and pony slobber all over it

I dusted off my vamo a few weeks ago to help my dad quite the stinkys but he went old turkey fair play to him,
After I set it up I vaped it for about to make sure there were no issues with it and I didn't find it quite satisfy me it would be ok in a pinch though I don't see that happening as I've a lot of mechs and they're solid but never say never

I just found this thread. I did wonder if I'd written it myself after a few beers.

Still got 4 Vamos in the house & office, like TJ I'm strictly 1.5-1.8ohm MTL around 8-9.5 watts, so the trusty Vamo does this perfectly No loss of Vamo love here, gets more use in the office than at home, but ever-present nonetheless I've said it for a couple of years now, every vaper should have at least one working Vamo in the arsenal all the time

Vamos? I look at them and this is what happens But yeah I don't sub-ohm either and it doesn't bother me in the slightest - if it keeps you off the stinkies that's all that matters

Vamo? Modern new fangled stuff. I still have a mini Lavatube V1 lying around.
But can't beat a Microstick/Spheroid combo, IMHO of course. Mechs rule.
