welcome Phil, glad you are happy with your vape, after messing about with the settings I have got my subtanks working today with SS304.
One is in standard 316 mode with a 0.19ohm coil reading 0.23, the other at 0.22 reading 0.24 set at 108 as TC cuts in instantly in 316 or with a 0105 TCR.
I must expect more from the Evic because 50 degrees difference from day to day or as has been in my case mid morning tea break to midday break isn't exactly set and forget temperature control. It would appear that the firmware is capable of so much more tweaking yet its base/core temperature and resistance readings continue to be inaccurate.
Afraid that I'm back to my original conclusion of Joyetech trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear.

The jury really is out still on this mod as far as I can see. I've been looking for a wallet and pocket friendly tc mod but the widely varying opinions on this has prevented me pulling the trigger.

fwiw i have only used my evic mini in NiTC mode with premade ni200 coil heads it works consistently, with each new atty/juice used i start off with a lowish temp, and knock it up in steps to taste, different attys/juce have vaped well between 195-225C. but once set its leave and vape no tweaking needed..
with other wires it may be more hit and miss ?? i dont know, i am stll running the v2.0 s/w

Thx Blakey I been running TCR M1 for about 9 hours now at 0092 and its holding its settings. I was thinking I would get up today and it would blow my head off or I would get nout out of it. That was not the case its just the same as yesterday which is a first ,I was changing the temp setting every few hours before.

It's a great MOD you just need to know how TC works and the relationship with power, resistance and TC. Fantastic value for money IMO

Unfortunately though even IF I set the accursed Evic to 105 or 101 or 091/92 it still won't hold its settings. Perhaps I've had 3 duff evics from two different suppliers but the faults don't lie with TCRs, the more updates I get the more it points to a fault within the mods. My line of thought has always been with the fluctuations of base resistance reading, either internal resistance, crap ground/510 or the board. if I may ask? which version hardware are your Evics?

Update, been running about 24 hours now and its stable on TCR M1 set on 0092 for 316L. Sorry don,t know what hardware version this one is, I got it about a month ago and it came as a 75w one with V2 solfware installed so I guess mine has the latest hardware.
Mine is all over the place in 316ss mode but its great on M1 mode with them settings ,very happy with it now. Just as well as I ordered an other one just before Xmass, but for £22 they are a good value for money mod.

I never got past a weeks use before they started to go Pete Tong, all were V1 with V1. 02 firmware. apparently Joyetech are up to V.6 hardware, may just be production tracking or it could be the board version. As with firmware they may be continually improving the hardware? If you connect to the updater it will show the hardware and firmware versions.
Anyways I've given up on the tanks again and have a brand new velocity clone with SS coils on one. Poor vape from 0101 through to 0108, going nicely in SS316 again at 25w.
Vape mail turned up today, I have another DNA200 to set up and yet I've spent even more time faffing about with the temperamental Evics. Didn't realise how determined I am to get these little beggars working.

SteveF the hardware on my mini is V1.01 and its running like a dream now so I really don,t know why yours are not. Just an idea but you could try installing all the updates from the start, one after the other. It could be that the update is not a stand alone one and needs parts from the others. Dout it but you never know may work. Mine came to me as V2 firmware so I have only done the V3 update.
