Bought an I stick 50w from Myepack about 8 months ago and suddenly it won't charge up anymore. Does this mean I have to throw it away? Looked at Myepack and they don't seem to stock them anymore. Is there a better alternative now? Only have one other battery, an I stick 30w which is the same age and fine atm. Not sure what to do!

Thanks for the quick reply and Merry Christmas to you too! Was looking at Amazon I stick 30w as I like the small size better and I don't understand all these new temperature control mods. I only vape with a kayfun lite at around 18 ohms at about 13w. It would happen over Xmas wouldn't it?! In the 30w reviews on Amazon someone said you need separate batteries around £14 so I'm lost now.

the istick's 20/30/50 are all built in batts, I have 4 of the 30w units and there fantastic, but I haven't been vaping that long and the missus already pinched one of them .... the only downside to the built in batt units is the inability to toss a dead cell In the bin without resorting to a magnifying glass and some pretty fiddly disassembly /assembly work, on the plus side for me I have a pretty decent electronics tool kit although I lost all my soldering irons a few years ago I am slowly rebuilding them. on the plus side I have been finding a lot of ultra cheap deals to help me replen my old gear a lot faster in the last few weeks thanks to places like GB, downside is I have loads of new things I want o get an no money left at this time of the year perhaps if I kick the kids out I will have more cash .... but probably not /

Are you certain it isn't the charger lead that's gone phut jacq? I'm having technical issues of a laptop kind - so I share your pain that these things always go wonky at the time you least want them to! Back ups for back ups are always worth the investment in my vaping world. Infact you can't have too many of them.

Merry Christmas Perpetua! I did think that and also the connection into the I stick but I've checked both and they're fine. My other battery is charging ok on the same lead.Am now sitting here with an extension lead draped all over the place tripping hubby up so I can vape and charge my one remaining battery! ... Needs must.

sadly myepack had to stop selling isticks thanks to copyright issue from another vendor that we all know but its worth giving Ash a shout when they reopen to see if he can advise. ive got all the isticks and the 50 has been the most problematic even though minor issues. if you like the size of the 30 then the 40 is almost the same size and you dont have to use the TC mode but its there if you decide to later. www.sr-vapes.co.uk/product/tc40wpicture for size

Again, just another thought jacq that might be worth a try My iStick 20w that I bought a year ago & has been in constants & very heavy use, wouldn't charge a couple of days ago. A clean of the contacts & a bit of a wiggle got it charging again

Looked at Amazon reviews and there doesn't seem to be a come back response to the odd few who have a problem. Without Myepack I'm stuck coz had teething problems with both batteries to begin with and they were brilliant!

well you can get them for under £20 from gearbest www.gearbest.com/30w-istick-_gear/or if you need them to arrive faster then amazon for under £30 www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=istick+30w as to problems, I have 4 30w isticks and none of them has problems, I got 2 from amazon, and 2 from GB, personally I wouldn't hesitate to order another one just remember that before starting to charge them you should remove the tank and switch it off (5 pushes of the fire button) to make sure there is no chance of it auto firing and causing the battery to get hot which was the only problem I had with any of them (got supper hot when on charge) any other problems then by all mean ask on here or if it stops working withi a week then just do a refund on it with the shop

jacqthe dirt cheap prices on the gb website are only valid for the next day or so as the stuff is in the sale they do have other options that are available in the eu warehouse this is a link to the current sale page for the EU warehouses you can reasonably expect the gear to show up in the next week www.gearbest.com/promotion-eu-christmas-sale-special-246.htmlproviding you have funds available to shop there today that is edit: even if you don't currently plan on going that route it might be worthwhile to get a couple of the TC boxes for the future so you can get the best out of your money for the coming years personally I bought a mod for the future which has the swappable 18650's so as long as I look after it, it should function for a year or two and just need the batteries replacing, if I had more cash I would buy a another one or two just for the fall back options
