How do you mix yours?

Tried all sorts of stuff to get my KFL+ to wick

Just changed mix from 54-56 PG/46-44 VG/ 2% flavour

to 54 PG/44 VG/2% vodka/2% flavouring

Using classikool for PG and VG (nicotine is 0.5mg/ml) and have been mixing in bottle up and down shake (make 30ml at a time) but since 2pm disaster!!!

Can make 10 and 20ml just not 30ml. Am now trying my 'old' way of jiggling bottle side to side - it's a child proof medicine bottle

any ideas and it's not cold and I'm not vaping high watts either?

I had a bad piece of cotton in the batch I was using, first 2 pads made perfect wicks 3rd pad first 2 wicks I tried were horrible 4th pad 7 good wicks ....I binned the bad pad and moved on, no idea what the problem was, possibly not carded enough when being made into pads who knows, but every industry has the Friday afternoon lemon's /

It's worth a go nanotm - been using this pad a day or so. I only change the wick every day or longer. Recoiled a day or so ago (1.4ohms or so - so deffo not sub-ohming)

And I'll add to that pad problem Jane @johanino, have had the exact same problem as nanotm, a rogue pad has been really off putting for my last lot of wicks

yeah well you know buying your pads in packs of 5 is not a good idea when that happens, fortunately I got like 20 free pads with rba heads and it seems I also went shopping whilst not quite with it and happily I also ordered about 500 pads from a variety of suppliers ..... one of them gave me the duff pad but when your only paying a few pence per pack in the sale you don't mind quite so much

and I rather suspect if like me you bought a pack of 140 pads for the same price most vendors are flogging 10 pads you expect some of them to be less than perfect .... if I find to many are less than perfect then they will just be getting gifted to the teens for spot cleansing pads and I'll buy more ..... happy coincidence that  muji is used for both maybe of maybe they just stuck a stack of face pads in the vape pile by accident .....

Thanks guys - semi sorted - apart from IVP D2 now deciding to fling resistances on my formerly 1.4ohm KFL+ (up to 3.5ohms and beyond) but then the coil could be majorly gunked with anything after today's fun and games LOL

Arrr I have a huge pack of organic pads nanotm, a few lifetimes supply I think along with loads of samples from other places for free that I dabble with now and again but always go back to my organic ones

Yeah thanks guys . Dodgy wicking yesterday after rewiring but that always happens when rewire on the Lord's day

you stupid thing I did, much worse than a dodgy wick, I put the 70/30 mix and the 30/70 mix vg/pg in the wrong tanks, now I have to decide to either dump the lot down the sink or somwhow get through at least one tank that burns my throat.....I think on reflection I might dump the high vg stuff down the drain and tip the high pg stuff into the correct tank but typical I got the sub ohm tank working perfectly aside from ripping my throat out

Leave it half an hour and you're trying to bust airlocks continually

I don't know if it's the wick or me? is glen or I think letsavit about for brains? This is a reoccuring problem with kayfuns. When the work they work they work fab - when they don't I buy shares in hair dye LOL

Being totally honest @johanino, ive not been using my kayfuns recently, I would recommend you check all seals and make sure they are in good condition, you definitely don't want too much cotton either as this would make you feel you're sucking a golf ball through a straw lol
Give the atty a thorough clean and check everything when you re assemble

You're losing vacuum so could be one of your seals, the little rubber one in the top cap can easy get dislodged/go missing, where the chimney top fits...even with all in place they can play you up so if all seals look fine try;


blowing down the drip tip to clear any juice out of the airholes then blow down again while totally covering the airholes.........then suck, suck, and suck even harder again....get the vacuum back...

Wow! I know about the wee o-ring in the top cap (it won't screw on easily after refilling with kayfil when that's bust or dislodged) and what a difference with your trick letsavit
