Hello all, hope you all have a great new year. As a family who got hit hard by the "credit crunch" so you can imagine my delight when on xmas day i unwrapped a new battery and tank Iv been vaping now for 2 years almost and iv always had to do with the standard ce4 clearomizers and standard batteries so to say i was overwhelmed by my new kit is quite an understatement. My partner bought me an i taste mvp 2.0 that come with a i clear 30 . To most this kit will seem rubbish and low end but to me, after what we have been though its the greatest ever lol However, the iclear stopped working after a few hours. I thought i had tightened it to much and pushed the pin down so i fiddled around with it and worked it up a tiny bit but that made no difference. I had to resort to using my old £1 clearomizer from poundland. I was gutted by this to be honest. Boxing day i walked to my local town and bought a jamo sub ohm tank that looked like something i never thought i could afford. I thought the shop done me favor by giving me it for £10. I got home and it wouldn't even work. Anyway since then i have bought two more clearomizers. One was from socialites and looks like a mt3 and the other is a aspire k1. I was desperate to get a good clearomiser that i could enjoy with my new battery. The mt3 only works when its so lose it feels like its going to fall off and the k1 doesn't give me a goo vape. The only half decent vape i get is with the poundland thing. I have trawled the web and there does seem to be an issue with this battery being temperamental with certain clearomizers but nobody seems to know why or how to resolve this. I know have 3 cartomizers that are better than anything iv ever had. To me the greatest battery since forever and an empty pocket. I was hoping someone on here may have some experience of this issue and can advise me on how to fix this. Thank you for reading.

Sorry to read of your issues kevthedev, when you should be enjoying your new set up . . . . I also hate to be the bearer of further bad news, but your MVP won't work with any subohm tank, as it doesn't have the capability to fire coils of that low ohmage. You will notice a difference in vape, from the top coil clearos you've got used to and the bottom coils you've now got - the vape does tend to be softer and less ' throaty '. Your iClear 30, is it the 30s?

I don't have any experience myself of the 30s, only the standard 30 so probably won't be much help to you kevthedev . . . . have you another coil that you could try in it?

Sorry to hear that kevthedev , I also had problems with my iclear 30 although with different coils to the one that Perpetua posted (wicks coming from the top) and I found the coils just couldn't keep up with the way I liked to vape and ended up buying a protank mini and then an aerotank mini which I thoroughly enjoyed.. If you were looking down the route of getting another tank though I'd highly recommend the aspire nautilus / mini..

Hi kevthedev I have MVP 1/ 2and 3 they all seem to suffer from a sticky 510 pin, even though the 2.0 and 3.0 are spring loaded. I normally use a safety pin just to lift the pin a little other that this they are normally rock solid mods, I assume the green light comes on when you press the power button and its charged etc ?and everything is screwed to together in the tanks. If your stuck buddy I have a kanger emow tank which will work on the MVP, just PM your address and I'll send asap

kevthedev if you PM me your address I'll post a Natilus mini to you with a new coil in. I prefer my Nautilus now which holds more juice. The coil usually lasts a couple of weeks and you will need to buy BVC coils. Amazon seem to have quite reasonably priced coils. If you can afford it I suggest an Istick 30w about £15. I got mine from Gearbox, takes a couple of weeks to arrive.

I was going to offer the same advice as wil7985. I used the MVP 2 for a good while and had a similar problem, it was remedied by lifting the centre pin.
The best performing tank I found for that battery was the Nautilus, so the offer from Shez above, I think is fantastic.

I'd second that advice, MVP2 is fairly old Skool now but you should still get a good vape from it

I can remember my old MVP suffering similar problems with certain tanks. Following advice on here I got myself an airflow controller that cured the problem The MVP has long gone, but if you'd like to try the controller PM your addy.

I done more wiggling of the pin but i seem to have damaged the o ring. The strange thing is though, everything seems to work on it now. I will take a pic later and show you.
