too much nicotene

Hello again peeps.. right when I got my sky cig kit 4 days ago and the prefilled carts were 12 mg of nicotine..I've since had a delivery of juice only 3x5ml bottles but I ordered 18 mg..I've just looked at a fag packet and the nicotine is 0.9 on l&b...me thinks I've gone too far lol..I'm new to vaping and now I think I should be going for 6 or 8 mgs...silly boy

How much did you used to smoke?

I smoked 20 - 30 rollies a day and started off vaping at 18-20 mg. I still often vape at this during the day, when I can't chain vape. For evenings and chain vaping I prefer aroud 11 - 15 mg!

No Gaz, it doesn't work like that. It mainly depends how much you smoke as to what strength to go for. For a 20 a day smoker 18mg juice (or even a tad higher) would be about right.

Best to start with something strong enough to stop cravings though and then start to decrease strength when you are confident that you won't go back to the nasties

I smoked 20-25 0.7mg fags per day, and I find the 18mg is just right for me. We got some juice at 20mg and I find it a bit harsh.

Hubby smoked rollies and he finds the 20mg too weak.

I personally think it's the throat hit rather than the nic content it's kinda false sense give a good throat hit makes you feel like you have just had a good drag on a fag

right now I am now on good flavours rather than throat hit

I used to smoke Mayfair Superkings Smooth which was 0.9 mg. I think a cig contains a lot more than 0.9mg of nic and they quote the average absorption per cig on the packs Not too sure.

I've upped my vaping juice to 24mg cause the 18mg strength just wasn't doing it for me and I was constantly resorting to my PV. I vape a lot less now and when I do, it's a lot more satisfying.

I'm with Karma...go higher than gradually reduce...Best get like the nic content right initially then gradually reduce....

Now I can have 1-2 analogs and go straight back on e-cig no bother....And I'm gradually reducing....I've gone from 36mg/ml to 16mg/ml in 7 months... aiming to be nic free by about July or so
