Mines charging fine on USB. Charged last night and left overnight, took batteries(brand new Samsung green 25Rs) out 5 minutes ago and on too charger and all reading 4.17V. Have you tried updating firmware, mine came with V1.03 and latest is V1.08. Downloaded latest from Wismec site. Think it's a bloody good mod for the money.

I don't have that particular mod but I have the xtar 4 bay, got that baby to charge up the batts based on keeping them healthy for longer, given that its cheap enough runs off a usb slot and can be used on the move from a powerbar if its required (I tested the ability to use it off my solar charger already and it didn't take any longer on my ni-mh aa/aaa bats) and so I like it a lot, its also got less chance of going bang like the standard mains charging units (one of which I had that developed a transformer fault and put ac current direct to the batts on charge, that was one hell of a noise)
safety first always, I wish the forever 30 and isticks had easy to remove batts given the heat they generate when the atty is attached while charging .....

Just ordered this from valley vapes took the precaution of ordering a charger rather than rely on usb theres been reports of them going on fire via usb i wasnt prepared to risk that id rather take batteries out and keep them matched for that mod

Anyone who is worried just measure your battery voltages after running down and charging, they should be very close after charging (0.05 V) and quite close after running down (0.25 V) and all > 3 V.

Never USB charge more than a single 18650 is the warning I've had from multiple "pro" vapers.

Never USB charge more than a single 18650 is the warning I've had from multiple "pro" vapers. As a blanket statement that is just wrong it entirely depends on the device, there are good, bad and ugly out there. The main thing with USB charging is it is going to be slow with standard 5 W power from a PC and even with high power supplies it will never be as fast as a decent 2 A mains charger or hobby charger. Multiple batteries can either be charged separately or balance charges like I assume this mod does, balance charging can take longer but is perfectly safe if done right. This is how balance charging via USB is normally implemented, there are other ways, but this is the norm. (goto 6:08)

I would never charge any 18650 in the mod, too many stories about problems about various mods after and during USB charging. I would certainly never charge a multibattery one, just too slow. There`s a firmware update version 3.0 now available which gives three TCR memory settings.

Ok so i chucked 3 fully charged batteries in the RX200(charged on external charger). I've run them down to halfway as indicated by the battery bar on the mod, taken them out and checked them to see if they are discharging evenly. So far so good no issue with any battery discharging faster than the others.
Next test put 3 freshly charged batteries in and use the mod until i get the battery empty message and check again to see if they're all discharged evenly.
At this point though it looks like it's fine in terms of discharging which was my bigger worry.

I never USB charge with the RX200, I have seen mention of issues using the onboard charging on various forums that have been too numerous to ignore. Mine have always been spot on using 25R's and externally charged on a 4 Bay Xtar and all are usually the same value or the odd .1 difference when removed from the mod for charging.

Wismec have recommended not charging via usb from the start. Rumour has it that the latest v3 update disables the usb charging

This is unfortunate. I bought mine because it was 200w and has usb charging (like the snowwolf, but with USB charging). That is what annoyed me about the SW, having to charge the batteries separately.
Oh well.
