What is this "kick" you all speak of? Would it fit a GGTB? I may get a Provari at some point, but I rekon it'll be a second hand one as I very much doubt I'm going to be able to afford a new one. Pity there wasn't any copies out there, as there are with Rolex

It is all down to the contacts on the GGTS. If the attie pin, battery post and button where all brass, it would be a stonker. The thing is a wonderful piece of engineering and Imeo is a genius for designing it. Chrissie, yours being the first version may well have brass contacts, that's why it performs good. SS doesn't conduct the current very well, I've had a few Dons. The SS one doesn't come close to the ally version with brass contacts. Anyone that thinks it does is dreaming. The P+ has rhodium contacts and hits hard.

Hissie, apparently, the new Lavatube out in a couple of weeks does everything the provari does and it's all stainless.

hissie, i was joking... but yes, they are both real
TBH i have a LT which i am not currently happy with, may buy a provari and keep the LT as a backup. unless it comes back from testing and actually kicks tut. 180 is a lot to pay out for the pv2.... but, one needs the best, sorry i;m an OCD like person when it comes to products...

Might be £180 but they're worth it!
