Tis not the world's best netbook but could really do with new wireless speakers for the bedroom (netbook in the lounge)... Is wifi fossilized now? Don't want a sound bar - just a nice portable cheap jobbie Looking for recommendations - basically if it's not my asus speaker am happy (this from a girl who is very happy having just gotten this - Sony CMT-CP101 - it's fossilized but cracking sound quality and auto reverse tape deck!!! - woot woot woot!) @johanino no problem, they can also be plugged into the mobile and used in a car in the same fashion as they work for the laptop /tablet as to the blutooth speaker, I got 4 of them from GB for under £20, word of warning there only splashproof , if you immerse it it wont work what with not being sealed along the sides /bottom .....so don't get one and mount it the wrong way up or try to use it as a bath float.......stupid kids one of them filled a sink with water to see if it really was waterproof and then cried because it wasn't (the damn thing has a grid full of holes on the back next to the sucker mount ......) and yeah the fm ones are fab I used to have one although it cost me closer to £50 years ago, still worked out cheaper to get that along with the £5 cd player than to replace the car stereo and the home hi-fi system (yes i'm a cheapskate that prefers practicality to looks)

This is really easy to set up...alas a lithium battery (pants - can't replace it I don't think ) but still. Set up - sorted volume - working in lounge. edited. Just tried in bedroom. Works fine . One very happy £6 bunny Thanks so much PS. Word of warning. Apparently these don't work so well in London due to lots of fm stations but I Had a few channels free

Can I use a normal phone charger for this (see above) fm transmitter? As fully charged it up for about 6 hours and now not holding charge..
Or does it need to be charged via usb lappie?

Phone charger ought to charge it. If it isn't holding charge it's faulty.

Anyone any idea if its possible to over charge a lithium battery to the point where it 0 longer holds a charge? Think I may have done it with an e-cig in the past & think I have done it again with FM transmitter so for it to work it has to be plugged into mains? Not suee
