Weekend or weekday evening? I'd vote for a school night evening. You have to remember that Cornwall is a big count(r)y, so evening meets could limit the attendance. BTW arron is now a Cornish resident as well, we should also tag @tedster .... there are loads more that I cant remember as well

If my work commitments allow this I would love to attend, sounds like a great idea to me, only been to one meet so far and I learnt so much from a great bunch of people.

Weekend it is then. I'll bow out in that case.

Nothing to stop anyone organising a local evening meet, opening it up to anyone who has the time to travel though. Lets face it, you could be my next door neighbour for all I know RangersBillyBoy(and I like putting the 'r' in)

As I have evening commitments 4 out of 5, weekends for me please; it will be easier for me to get a chit for a few hours then, provided I've done the ironing first!

A weekend & during the day would also be best for me. RangersBillyBoy as Q says, why not also arrange a separate meet up for those closer by that would prefer an evening meet up during the week

If you make it in Mevagissey I'll drive the 10 or so hours to attend! We used to go there for family summer holidays when I was a nipper in the late 70s/early 80s.

Meva is one of my favourite places - still a working port & only a few miles from me I loved the place! We stayed in the Sharksfin Hotel and had breakfast every morning with a window right onto the harbour, watching the fishermen sort their stuff out for the day. I used to love walking around the harbour just looking at the boats. Long days at Caerhays beach, sunburn, fish and chips for dinner, those were simpler times!

Those beautiful, simple times can still be found here in Cornwall

I can't do the 7th, I'll be travelling back from a concert in Manchester the night before. Best part of nine hours on a coach But don't let that stop you guys, I'll come along to the next one Sent from my X5pro using proboards
