Anyone else think the Velocity looks like a Canadian off South Park?

I also use a mac, but not a DNA200... I have a few business related bits of software that I have to use occasionally (A USB connected oscilloscope is one of them). I love my mac and hate to think of polluting it with Windows, but I had to do it. Running windows on a VM wasn't working very well, so I went with bootcamp... My mac now dual-boots windows and OSX, and you wouldn't know it at all. To get to windows I just reboot and hold the option key, then I select the windows partition and it boots into windows 7. If I don't hold the option key, it boots into OSX just like normal. It was very easy to set up.

If you make it in Mevagissey I'll drive the 10 or so hours to attend! We used to go there for family summer holidays when I was a nipper in the late 70s/early 80s. Meva is one of my favourite places - still a working port & only a few miles from me I loved the place! We stayed in the Sharksfin Hotel and had breakfast every morning with a window right onto the harbour, watching the fishermen sort their stuff out for the day. I used to love walking around the harbour just looking at the boats. Long days at Caerhays beach, sunburn, fish and chips for dinner, those were simpler times!

Surprised you're selling the Russian, I've got one of those... it's a fantastic tank atty for £40. Somebody buy it now, you won't be sorry!

Just a quick update, I stuck my Marquis dripper on the Stout (with a dual coil build at 0.25 ohms) and pulsed the coils while turning up the power...
First impressions are: Either this battery isn't good for 40A, or this mod isn't good for 100W.
It's all good up to around 50W and then it starts complaining about a weak battery, and anything above 70W and it seems to reboot the board and reset back to the previous lower power setting.
It's a good thing I didn't buy the mod to use at high power, I'd have been disappointed.

Well my 40A 4200 mAh efest 26650 arrived from CdV today, and it just came off the charger... It was at 3.6V when I stuck it in the Nitecore D4 (on its own), and it took 5 hours and 17 minutes to charge to 4.2V! If that's any indication of a large capacity... I've never had a battery take that long to charge, my 25Rs take about 2 hours. Anyway, jtc, it fits in the Stout! It's a fairly tight fit length-wise, but it's in. I'll test it a bit with my regular tank attys at 15-20W and maybe try it a bit with a dripper at higher power. A few days with it and I can maybe say something about it!

Nice and brief for me... Only the opening guitar solo from Coming Back to Life by Pink Floyd, preferably the live version. It can fade out right before Dave starts to sing.

I see some mention of the green efest 26650 here, it's advertised as 20A and 4200mAh... Creme de Vape has a purple efest which is 40A and 4200mAh here. I just ordered one for my Stout, so I'll report back when I've had some use out of it. Yeah hopefully it fits stu Apparently the stout is fussy on size I heard that too... I only bought one, so here's hoping.

I haven't been here long, but I've been thinking along the same lines... I'm wondering if it's some kind of weird cult thing where we eventually get trapped and the ugly truth comes out!
I mean, where's all the snide, anger, rage, bitterness, baseless accusations, patronising behaviour etc?

Oh lovely jubbly robby that's me updated my RX200 and I can use the custom TC modes on the Flask Stout too, it works exactly the same. Now I just wish they would update the font on the Flask! It's still got the ugly serif font that was on the older RX200 firmware.

Anyone know how to use the customisable TCR mode on these wismec boards? The latest firmware for the Vapor Flask Stout has this feature but I haven't found any documentation on it.

I got mine in the InTaste.de b&m store in Reutlingen in Germany... 85 euros I think. Spring loaded 510? Yes. You can use a 26650 battery, but it also comes with a sleeve for 18650. For the full 100w they recommend a 35A minimum battery, so that rules out 18650 for that.
