Morning all have just fitted an evolv DNA40 chip in one of my box mods, everything went well all working untill i pressed the fire button and way to much power comming through checked the atommiser and 0.5 ohms my wattage set to 21w. Checked the ohms on the mod and its showing .2 ohms on there tried another atommiser and 1 second press and a straight dry hit "ouch" and now no matter what atommiser i put on it its just showing "check atommiser" Ive built a few mods and all ok but this one is about to get a hammer through it 3 hours wasted. Any help appreciated Si EDIT: have just removed the 510 and cleaned the box and earth tab it now knows theres an attomiser on it but the ohms are still way to low for the build i have 0.56 build but reading 0.1 on the mod and every time i hit the fire button the ohms are fluctuating on any atty. Been up since 5am doing this ohhhh dear

Never built one myself sir but going on mod resistance in Escribe and it's usually like 0.003, .2 seems quite high. Sorry if I'm being thick My foggatti is 0 resistance

Feel for you mate, its a bitch when you put a mod together and it aint going right. Not something Ive come across so cant offer any advice but may be worth checking the 510 wire conections at the board maybe. On the plus side its still lighting up and not blank. Good luck.

Just a long shot but i have had fat daddy 510's fail from new. I know its a pain but you could try the new one linkAnother thing to try is route the 510 negative straight to the battery negative rather than the board.

Last time I had this issue it was due to a short on the 510, The insulator was allowing the pin to connect to the earth part of the 510 when the atomiser was fitted?

I would disconnect the old one. And that sounds like a short keeping it alive. Mod building is fun aint it

Hard to tell but if you stick a new 510 in then at least that will tell you if there's another problem by process of elimination.
