There is something strange going on with it that's for sure because I get plenty of bubbles every time I take a draw from it but if the draw is any longer than a second boom big dry hit. Iv looked for hot legs and hot spots but cannot see any and it's driving me round the bend now.

Mark, this requires a gentle approach I fear. Therefore stop punching it. Put the hammer down. Use something else for a while then come back to it.

I must have done 20 odd builds in it in the last week and about double that in trying different amounts of wicks god I'm pissed off with it I hate it when I know it's capable of performing very good and I just cannot figure out why I cannot figure out why it just won't play ball.

I've wasted 9 coil sets with 20+ wicking attempts and adjustments. Tried 3mm, 2.5mm, titanium, SS and nichrome. The only good hits were with the top open and it didn't gurgle and flood so I'm fairly sure that the wick could handle the juice if it would only reach the coil. Same almost every time when it was closed, just dry hits every other draw. Mine has been cleaned and put back in its box. Considering all the time I spent messing about with the Kanger subtank RBAs I'm giving up way too early but I'm also hoping that when I go back to it things may just turn out for the better. BTW...it stopped leaking/weeping from between the base and airflow

BTW...it stopped leaking/weeping from between the base and airflow I stuck kanthal coils in mine 6 wraps at 3mmID I get dry hits but only when i'm pulling it for more than 5 seconds and doing several chugs in a row, damn tank gets way to hot and refuses to wick / still I've put 10+ tanks of juice through the same build all 70% vg and then switched to a 50/50 mix and despite it getting too warm for my taste its not dry hitting even after 10 pulls (but i'm getting a mental head spin from that many pulls) of between 3 and 5 sec duration.... i'm going to strip it down tomorrow and try a twin 3mm ss317l build, one thing I did notice though in another tank, it was constantly dry hitting after a good 5 sec draw, rewicked with the same batch of muji and got the same problem, swapped to a different batch and no dry hits even though I do the wick the same on every build .... I suspect some batches are the probem rather than the build or the tank /

hope it's not a problem with the Muji, seems ok in my subtanks. I've got 3 full bags of the stuff that's a bit of a confidence rocker

Same here minime,i was f..ked off with my one,it drove me nuts.Dry hitting for a start, probably cause I used to much wick.Used less wick, and got plenty of Vapour, but for some reason lost the flavour, then it leaked, now its in the bin.Bought it after the good reviews on them, bit it disappointed me.At the moment Im loving the ,I Sub Apex and the Apex 5,solid flavour and no dry hits or leaks.

I have never had a dry hit with my two crius , never a leak and have run all types of coils in them. Lung hitting and mouth to lug. Now I tend to just run a single vertical coil only 1.5mm drill bit so it mouth to lugs really well. All I can say is don,t pack the juice wells tight with cotton , that will give you a dry hit but it should not leak like that. I been using the yode cotton and 316l 0.4mm wire at .44 ohms. Im sure I get better flavour and they wick better on vertical coils , more cotton in contact with the coil.
I don,t wick mine this way I use just one strip of cotton but you get the idea .
