ohh well, another foray into a dual coiled tank and another PITA.
It took too many tries to get the damned thing to wick, started off with too much, worked my way down to the point of not enough and still not found the happy medium. Build is 2.5mm titanium 0.12ohms, same set up that I've had working well in all of my dual builds. I have watched several videos and I haven't packed the juice wells solid, tried everything from loose wick to the bottom, trimmed and shaped to just a whisp in the wells with the majority sitting on the top. I'm fairly certain its not just the (my) wicking because if I open the fill vent.....it chucks as expected but otherwise its airlocked and running dry as can be. I'd expect 70%vg to be troublesome if I was out in the cold but not at 25*c
But on top of that its weeping juice between the AFC and tank, I've read that the V1 and V2 sufffered from a cracked ceramic insulator and that as the deck is all press fitted its not replaceable.

I have the v3 tank ithink (based on the airflow controller) so far I have only had one leak moment with i'm pretty sure that was down to the juice, I haven't had it leaky with the 70% vg juices at all my personal way of wicking was on a 2.5mm coil bend the wick down outside the juice wells mark it for length and cut then push it down into the wells with a small screwdriver until its just covering the holes, I found it to need a couple of primer pulls (airflow closed not fired with juice holes wide open) when its been sat without being used for a while but that's probably because I close the juice holes and give it a final fired pull when I stop using it.
I have noticed it has a lot of condensate build up and likes to spit (but that might be down to me using it at 22.5watts) so have put some gauze into the drip tip holder centered over the hole and that's removed that annoyance.
i tried it at 45watts but all i got was dry hits constantly so shoved it back down to 22.5 and its been great although the flavours are somewhat muted, until i changed the setting on the mod from soft to normal and then it started to come through, of ocurse i'm only using kanthal on it so far although i am thinking about trying tc i'll have to wait unitll i get some SS 317 wire since the dual coil build ni200 is too large for the deck ....

I use these all the time I find too less of wick then they can leak. Best for me is the scotch roll then cut level wit the sides of the raised bit. Then I cut at 45 degree from the front of the coil towards the end of the wick. I give it a little blow then start poking it in. The wick sits just inside the juice channels but it's thick enough to fill the top of the hole. If it ain't thick enough it will leak. I use 2.5 ID and the scotch roll fits in nice and snug. Ive been using the crius since they were released and it did take a little experimenting but once you have it then it's grrrreat

I don't think it's anything to do with your wicking.. It's a flaw in the tank.. As you say it's not coming from the air flow but seeping slightly inbetween the juice contol and afc.. As mentioned in another post vertical coils seems to stop the seeping I think the video on YouTube is by a guy called Lee..

Had no issues with mine, i use enough cotton for a good snug fit in the coil, i cut the ends to length so they come halfway down the juice holes, i thin the ends a little so it does get choked by that retaining ring. I run it at 50-55W no problems.

I had hell with this atty but then one day everything came together and the flavour was fantastic BUT now for some reason it's started to dry hit.

I've knocked up a pair of 26g nichrome coils for 0.33, could have gone for thinner wire/higher resistance coil I suppose but they fit perfectly over the airflow vents and I'm not in the mood to risk cutting the legs with the screws. It seems to be wicking better this time around, going by the sound its more on the wet side than before although being conscious of no limiting I'm taking shorter pulls. Going over 30w cures the slight gurgle as expected but its close to dry as the wicking struggles to keep up.
Just going to leave it now ( before I wear the threads out)and see how the latest build settles in.
Having given the base a good wash I can see that the AFC ring doesn't sit level against the juice control/tank all the way round and this seems where the seepage is coming from when the control is turned.
If it continues to leak I'll raise a ticket.

This one?
Looks like it can't get enough juice with a simple wick and it seems like a lot of messing about.

No flaw sorry Setup correctly it's awesome Mine is set up correctly it just seeps juice over night like OP and If turn the juice flow off overnight it still does it.. I can vape it up to 80w with ease and use the Scottish wick method so I use plenty of cotton about half a sheet for 2 2.5mm coils so it's rammed in the coil and about half way in the juice holes. I've done a friends for him the exact same way and it's fine.. Mine was fine for about a week before it started doing it.
