The cheap ones on a known well auction site are the kind I've broken

Oh cool. Not urgent cos I'm using a mod to check ohms but would be handy for the build deck. Mind, saying that I just chuck a coil in, wick and hope for the best. Not into winding coils

You can use the clips to check ohms of a bit a length of wire before you wrap a coil should you get the urge or more likely check a pre wrapped coil before you fit it too your atty. I think you could also heat your wire before wrapping a coil with it instead of torching it. To summarise, you can bung the leads in a drawer with the rest of your useless stuff  |
