...Time to build a mod.

Yeah so rather than climb the walls, I thought I'd see if I can make a stylish and rather swish looking dual 18650 parallel box mod (and as I ordered the wrong box by mistake also, a single 18650) as some friends are fancying some if I do a good job. Who knows, maybe I'll put a few for sale at some point for non-inflated prices hehe.



I'm going for a two tone 'worn' affect with etching...maybe a pinstripe design if I can get it looking cool.

Hehe I used to wire up and rewire guitars and stuff so the wiring bits should be fine. I have done spray finishes on things before too so that should be fine too...but obviously in a perfect world...

Main thing I'm trying to figure out is how exactly I am going to recess the 510. I was thinking of doing it like the titan mod cuz that makes sense. I was gona square it all off but then realised it wouldn't leave me a lot of room for the 510 recess. Might still flatten out the bass though.

Ok so here it is so far...

Still have to put a battery ribbon in...need to raid the other halves material box.

Next...shape the box, prime and paint. Drill holes and all that jazz

Nice work.
If you really want the 510 recessed, in my head I would put a 22mm hole in the box then add another metal strip inside the box to bolt the 510 to.

IMO once you have a 22 mm atty on it it will look clean with that 510 mounted normally you just won't notice it and it will be the strongest solution.

Yeah I did think that so I put the cap of my sapor on it (ie without the deck) and I kept seeing the lean...Argh. really silly in know. I'm not Gona jump to conclusions with this. I'll level the Base first and see how I feel.

You can sand a bit of the lean out, but not all, some people square the ends with car filler if they are painting.

Yea I thought that might be the case. I think I was Gona just do it as much as I can to make it ballence better...tipping points and cats don't mix on a table

I probably wouldn't have noticed it as much if I didn't know it was going to be there haha
