If you've not got one see if you can borrow a belt sander, put the lid on the box and give it sand on all sides. It will end up like this.

I have the sander no probs...kinda why I thought I might as well do it. I was gona curve the edges anyway so it was less of a sharp box look

So...magnate time.



This is how I'm doing it. The cylindrical piece is going in the main body and the smaller in the lid. No screws will be used in this.



And I've sized the holes so the body magnate will actually go into the lid also acting as a 'clip' so the lid doesn't have as much play.



And whilst I'm at it, I'll do my single 18650 mod too.







And here they are. I've only epoxy-ed the inner ones first but attached them to the top magnates so the height is right. I'll leave them to dry long enough so I can take off the lid without the magnates coming out and then I'll stick the top ones onto the top. The next so many hours are going to be crucial haha.

First time I tried doin double magnets it was like something off poltergeist.
Mixed the magnets up and every time you tried putting the lid on it would come flying off lol.

I'm just finishing off the sanding, drilling and a few modifications. Pictures tomorrow and hopefully some paint!

the battery sled for the single 18650 turned up today, the 510 on sat so hopefully the mosfets and the switch in the next few days and away we go.

I have tested the wiring on the dual 18650...just lobed batteries in it and vaped it outside of the box...hits and vapes!!!

Ok...drilling and holes done. Couple of the magnates fell off but no boggy really hehe. Here it is so far. Yes I know that's a huge switch. Gona use smaller ones next time...my dremel took a beating!

I'd order a chip now if I had the money I was soo close to getting an okl20t chip

So this is one part of the mod. Still needs a couple more coats, then hopefully the few touches that make it a bit nice then gloss. Lid is still priming as I had to start again with the priming as I noticed some cat hair on it...damn cats.
