Diacetyl in Custard flavour ejuices

I was informed by the owner of an e cig shop in Altrincham that the majority of custard e juices on the market contain Diacetyl.
Is there any truth to this does anyone know?
Any input would be greatly appreciated as I used like custard ejuice prior to knowing this

And , we took in a hundred times more diactly when smoking ...... but it seems they all fail to mention that. next they will be telling us we will suffer from Popcorn lung!

They are worth reading.

Diacetyl is something we've ALL consumed in much higher amounts whilst smoking as someone above pointed out.

Don't take this the wrong way m8....it may be a subject done to death in your eyes but it is a new subject in my eyes as I am newer to vaping than you and therefore don't have as much info on things as you obviously do...If everyone had the same amount of knowledge there wouldn't be a need for a forum would there.....oh and the reason I made the thread was because the info I got was from someone who had been vaping 6 years????

He didn't lie to you....it's true......most good custards contain diacetyl.

What the vaper of 6 years obviously then failed to tell you......is that it's in far less quantities than it is in cigarettes.

The whole diacetyl thing was a tactic dreamed up by the anti- mob as a way to demonise vaping.

In a nutshell........it's a crock.

It has been done to death & thousands of us already know about diacetyl & vaping, especially if you've vaped for a good while & been around on the forums. A lot of us also know & have seen the carp that regularly gets spouted & printed about it, but please remember that there are millions that don't know & have only seen or heard that carp, sadly. As the bad press gets remembered.

It will crop up a good few times more, so please, just remember Perpetua's saved chart above & quote it.

vapemeister69, best revisit that vape shop & show him a print out.

And not just Custards I think it's important to point out . . . . there's a whole host of concentrates where it might be present. Not necessarily as an added compound as it can be naturally occurring.

The alternative that some concentrate manufacturers use instead of Acetoin and or Acetyl Propionyl, is Butyric Acid - which I find tastes horrible!

It's not my place to tell anyone what to vape or otherwise vapemeister69, but I've no intention of denying myself the pleasure of a lovely Custard ( etc ) vape.
